யோவாப் கர்த்தரின் கூடாரத்திற்கு ஓடிப்போனான் என்றும், இதோ, பலி பீடத்தண்டையில் நிற்கிறான் என்றும், ராஜாவாகிய சாலொமோனுக்கு அறிவிக்கப்பட்டபோது, சாலொமோன் யோய்தாவின் குமாரனாகிய பெனாயாவை அனுப்பி, நீ போய் அவன்மேல் விழு என்றான்.

யோவாப் கர்த்தரின் கூடாரத்திற்கு ஓடிப்போனான் என்றும், இதோ, பலிபீடத்தின் அருகில் நிற்கிறான் என்றும், ராஜாவாகிய சாலொமோனுக்கு அறிவிக்கப்பட்டபோது, சாலொமோன் யோய்தாவின் மகனாகிய பெனாயாவை அனுப்பி, நீ போய் அவனைக் கொலைசெய் என்றான்.

யாரோ ஒருவன் சாலொமோனிடம் போய், யோவாப் கர்த்தருடைய கூடாரத்தில் பலிபீடத்தருகில் இருப்பதாய் சொன்னான். எனவே சாலொமோன் யோய்தாவின் குமாரனாகிய பெனாயாவிடம் அங்குபோய் அவனைக் கொல்லுமாறு ஆணையிட்டான்.
