இப்படிக் கர்த்தர் அன்றையதினம் இஸ்ரவேலை ரட்சித்தார்; அந்த யுத்தம் பெத்தாவேன்மட்டும் நடந்தது.

אַבְרָֽם׃

וַיָּבֹא֙wayyābōʾva-ya-VOH
one
that
had
escaped,
הַפָּלִ֔יטhappālîṭha-pa-LEET
and
told
וַיַּגֵּ֖דwayyaggēdva-ya-ɡADE
Abram
לְאַבְרָ֣םlĕʾabrāmleh-av-RAHM
the
Hebrew;
הָֽעִבְרִ֑יhāʿibrîha-eev-REE
for
he
וְהוּא֩wĕhûʾveh-HOO
dwelt
שֹׁכֵ֨ןšōkēnshoh-HANE
in
the
plain
בְּאֵֽלֹנֵ֜יbĕʾēlōnêbeh-ay-loh-NAY
of
Mamre
מַמְרֵ֣אmamrēʾmahm-RAY
the
Amorite,
הָֽאֱמֹרִ֗יhāʾĕmōrîha-ay-moh-REE
brother
אֲחִ֤יʾăḥîuh-HEE
of
Eshcol,
אֶשְׁכֹּל֙ʾeškōlesh-KOLE
and
brother
וַֽאֲחִ֣יwaʾăḥîva-uh-HEE
of
Aner:
עָנֵ֔רʿānērah-NARE
and
these
וְהֵ֖םwĕhēmveh-HAME
were
confederate
בַּֽעֲלֵ֥יbaʿălêba-uh-LAY

בְרִיתbĕrîtveh-REET
with
Abram.
