அவன் தன் கண்களை ஏறெடுத்து ஸ்திரீகளையும் பிள்ளைகளையும் கண்டு: உன்னோடிருக்கிற இவர்கள் யார்? என்றான்.

அவன் தன் கண்களை ஏறெடுத்து, பெண்களையும் பிள்ளைகளையும் கண்டு: உன்னோடிருக்கிற இவர்கள் யார்? என்றான். அதற்கு அவன்: தேவன் உமது அடியானுக்கு அருளின பிள்ளைகள் என்றான்.

ஏசா ஏறிட்டுப் பார்த்து பெண்களையும் குழந்தைகளையும் கவனித்தான். “இவர்கள் அனைவரும் யார்?” எனக் கேட்டான். யாக்கோபு, “இவர்கள் தேவன் கொடுத்த என் பிள்ளைகள். தேவன் எனக்கு நன்மை செய்திருக்கிறார்” என்றான்.
