ஆத்தாத்தின் களத்திலே துக்கங்கொண்டாடுகிறதை அத்தேசத்தின் குடிகளாகிய கானானியர் கண்டு: இது எகிப்தியருக்குப் பெரிய துக்கங்கொண்டாடல் என்றார்கள். அதினால் யோர்தானுக்கு அப்பாலிருக்கிற அந்த ஸ்தலத்திற்கு ஆபேல்மிஸ்ராயீம் என்னும் பேர் உண்டாயிற்று.
