நப்தலி கோத்திரத்திலே கொலைசெய்தவனுக்கு அடைக்கலப்பட்டணமாகக் கலிலேயாவிலுள்ள கேதேசையும் அதின் வெளிநிலங்களையும், அம்மோத்தோரையும் அதின் வெளிநிலங்களையும், கர்தானையும் அதின் வெளிநிலங்களையும் கொடுத்தார்கள்; இந்தப் பட்டணங்கள் மூன்று.

மாலையில் யாக்கோபு வெளியிலிருந்து வரும்போது லேயாள் புறப்பட்டு அவனுக்கு எதிர்கொண்டுபோய்: என் மகனுடைய தூதாயீம் பழங்களால் உம்மை வாங்கினேன்; ஆகையால், நீர் என்னிடத்தில் வரவேண்டும் என்றாள்; அவன் அன்று இரவு அவளோடு உறவுகொண்டான்.
