அந்தத் தண்டுக்கு விரோதமாய் இவர்கள் தாவீதுக்கு உதவிசெய்தார்கள்; இவர்களெல்லாரும் பராக்கிரமசாலிகளும் இராணுவத்தில் சேர்வைக்காரருமாயிருந்தார்கள்.

அப்படியே அவன் சிக்லாகுக்குத் திரும்பிப்போகையில், மனாசேயில் அத்னாக், யோசபாத், எதியாவேல், மிகாயேல், யோசபாத், எலிகூ, சில்த்தாயி என்னும் மனாசே கோத்திரத்தாரின் ஆயிரத்துச் சேர்வைக்காரர் அவன் பட்சமாய் வந்தார்கள்.
