நான் அநியாயஞ்செய்து, மரணத்துக்குப் பாத்திரமானது ஏதாகிலும் நடப்பித்ததுண்டானால் நான் சாகாதபடிக்கு மனுகேட்கமாட்டேன். இவர்கள் என்மேல் சாட்டுகிற குற்றங்கள் முற்றிலும் அபத்தமானால், அவர்களுக்குத் தயவுபண்ணும்பொருட்டு ஒருவரும் என்னை அவர்களுக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கலாகாது. இராயருக்கு அபயமிடுகிறேன் என்றான்.

நான் அநியாயஞ்செய்து, மரணத்திற்கு ஏதுவாக ஏதாவது செய்ததுண்டானால், நான் சாகாதபடிக்கு முறையிடமாட்டேன். இவர்கள் என்மேல் சுமத்துகிற குற்றங்கள் முற்றிலும் பொய்யானதுமல்லாமல், அவர்களுக்குத் தயவுசெய்யும்படிக்கு ஒருவரும் என்னை அவர்களுக்கு ஒப்படைக்கக்கூடாது என்று இராயருக்கு மேல்முறையீடு செய்கிறேன் என்றான்.

நான் ஏதேனும் தவறு செய்து, சட்டமும் நான் அதற்காக இறக்க வேண்டுமெனக் கூறினால், நான் இறப்பதற்குச் சம்மதிக்கிறேன். நான் மரணத்தினின்று தப்பவேண்டுமென்று கேட்கவில்லை. ஆனால் இப்பழிகள் பொய்யெனில் யாரும் என்னை யூதரிடம் ஒப்படைக்கக் கூடாது. நான் இராயரால் நியாயந்தீர்க்கப்பட விரும்புகிறேன்!” என்றான்.

Ivarkal enmael saattukira kuttangal muttilum apaththamaanaal, avarkalukkuth thayavupannnumporuttu oruvarum ennai avarkalukku oppukkodukkalaakaathu. Iraayarukku apayamidukiraேn entan.
