শেলা ছিলেন যিহূদার সন্তান| তাঁর পুত্রদের নাম এর, লাদা আর য়োকীম| কোষেবার লোকরাও তাঁরই বংশধর| এছাড়াও য়োযাশ আর সারফ নামে তাঁর দুই পুত্র মোয়াবীয় মেযেদের বিয়ে করে বৈত্‌লেহমে চলে গিয়েছিলেন|

The sons	בְּנֵי֙	bĕnēy	beh-NAY
of Shelah	שֵׁלָ֣ה	šēlâ	shay-LA
the son	בֶן	ben	ven
of Judah	יְהוּדָ֔ה	yĕhûdâ	yeh-hoo-DA
Er were,	עֵ֚ר	ʿēr	are
the father	אֲבִ֣י	ʾăbî	uh-VEE
of Lecah,	לֵכָ֔ה	lēkâ	lay-HA
Laadah and	וְלַעְדָּ֖ה	wĕlaʿdâ	veh-la-DA
the father	אֲבִ֣י	ʾăbî	uh-VEE
Mareshah, of	מָֽרֵשָׁ֑ה	mārēšâ	ma-ray-SHA
and the families	וּמִשְׁפְּח֛וֹת	ûmišpĕḥôt	oo-meesh-peh-HOTE
of the house	בֵּית	bêt	bate
wrought that them of	עֲבֹדַ֥ת	ʿăbōdat	uh-voh-DAHT
fine linen,	הַבֻּ֖ץ	habbuṣ	ha-BOOTS
of the house	לְבֵ֥ית	lĕbêt	leh-VATE
of Ashbea,	אַשְׁבֵּֽעַ׃	ʾašbēaʿ	ash-BAY-ah
