এলিয় প্রভুকে সম্মান জানাতে এই পাথরগুলো দিয়ে য়জ্ঞবেদীটি ঠিক করেছিলেন| তারপর তিনি বেদীর পাশে 7 গ্য়ালন জল ধরার মতো একটি ছোট ডোবা কাটলেন,

ভাঙ্গার পর তোমাদের প্রভু ঈশ্বরের জন্য উপযুক্ত বেদী তৈরী করো| এই উঁচু জায়গাতেই সেটা তৈরি করো| তারপর এই বেদীতেই ঐ ষাঁড়টিকে বলি দিয়ে পুড়িয়ে দাও| জ্বালানোর জন্য আশেরার খুঁটিটাকে ব্যবহার করো|
Judges 21:4
পরদিন ভোরে ইস্রায়েলীয়রা একটা বেদী তৈরী করল| সেই বেদীতে তারা ঈশ্বরের কাছে হোমবলি ও মঙ্গল নৈবেদ্য উত্সর্গ করল|

শমূয়েল একটা মেষশাবক নিয়ে এল| প্রভুকে সে এই মেষটি একটি সম্পূর্ণ হোমবলি হিসাবে নিবেদন করল| ইস্রায়েলের জন্য শমূয়েল প্রভুর কাছে প্রার্থনা করতে লাগল| প্রভু সেই প্রার্থনায সাড়া দিলেন|

শমূযেলের বাড়ী ছিল রামাতে| তাই প্রত্যেকবার তাকে রামায় ফিরে যেতে হত| ঐ শহর থেকেই সে ইস্রাযেল শাসন করত, বিচারের কাজকর্ম চালাত| রামায় শমূয়েল প্রভুর উদ্দেশ্যে একটা বেদী তৈরী করেছিল|
