তোমরা যদি আমি আসার পর আমার সঙ্গে সঙ্গে চলে আসো তাহলে তোমাদের এমন এক দেশে নিয়ে যাব, যেখানে সবুজ ক্ষেত শস্য়ে ভরে থাকে, অপর্য়াপ্ত দ্রাক্ষারস আর গাছ-গাছালি ফলে ভরে থাকে| তোমরা স্বাচ্ছন্দ্য়ে, খাবার ও বস্ত্রসহ থাকতে পারবে| কিন্তু হিষ্কিয়র কথায় তোমরা কান দিও না| ও তোমাদের দলে টানতে চেষ্টা করছে, বলছে, ‘প্রভু আমাদের রক্ষা করবেন|’

হোশেযর ইস্রায়েল শাসনের নবম বছরে শমরিয়া দখল করেন| অশূররাজ বহু ইস্রায়েলীয়কে বন্দী করে তাদের অশূর দেশে নিয়ে গিয়েছিলেন| এই সমস্ত বন্দীদের তিনি হলহ, হাবোর ও গোষণ নদীর তীরে ও মাদীযদের বিভিন্ন শহরে বসবাসে বাধ্য করেছিলেন|

প্রভু যদি আমাদের উপর খুশী হয়ে থাকেন, তাহলে তিনিই আমাদের নেতৃত্ব দিয়ে ঐ জায়গায় নিয়ে যাবেন| এবং প্রভু আমাদের সেই সমৃদ্ধ এবং উর্বর দেশটি দিয়ে দেবেন!
