একজন লোক দায়ূদকে বলল, “যারা অবশালোমের সঙ্গে ফন্দি আঁটছে অহীথোফল তাদের মধ্যে একজন|” তখন দায়ূদ প্রার্থনা করলেন, “প্রভু আমরা তোমার কাছে প্রার্থনা করি তুমি অহীথোফলের চক্রান্ত ব্যর্থ কর|”

saying, לֵאמֹ֔ר ʾāmar ah-MAHR
Ahithophel אֲחִיתֹ֥פֶל ʾăḥîtōpel uh-hee-toh-FEL
among the conspirators בַּקֹּֽשְׁרִ֖ים qāšar ka-SHAHR
with עִם ʿim eem
Absalom. אַבְשָׁל֑וֹם ʾăbîšālôm uh-vee-sha-LOME
said, וַיֹּ֣אמֶר ʾāmar ah-MAHR
And David דָּוִ֔ד dāwid da-VEED
into foolishness. סַכֶּל sākal sa-HAHL
I pray thee, נָ֛א nāʾ na
turn אֶת ʾēt ate
the counsel עֲצַ֥ת ʿēṣâ ay-TSA
of Ahithophel אֲחִיתֹ֖פֶל ʾăḥîtōpel uh-hee-toh-FEL
O Lord, יְהוָֽה׃ yĕhōwâ yeh-hoh-VA
