সেদিন যিহোশূয় মক্কেদা শহর জয় করলেন| শহরের রাজা ও লোকদের যিহোশূয় বধ করলেন| এক জনও বেঁচে রইল না| যিহোশূয় য়িরীহোর রাজার য়ে দশা করেছিলেন, মক্কেদার রাজারও সে রকম দশা করলেন|
