Leviticus 4:13
“এমনও হতে পারে যে সমগ্র ইস্রাযেল জাতি না জেনে পাপ করেছে| তারা হয়তো এমন অনেক কাজ করে বসেছে যেগুলি প্রভু তাদের না করতেই আজ্ঞা দিয়েছেন| যদি তাই ঘটে তারা দোষী হবে|

সুতরাং যদি তোমরা কোন ভুল কর এবং এই আজ্ঞাগুলো পালন করতে ভুলে যাও তাহলে কি করবে? যদি ইস্রায়েলের সব লোকই ভুল করে, তাহলে সবাই একত্রে প্রভুকে একটি অল্পবয়সী বৃষ হোমবলির নৈবেদ্য হিসেবে প্রদান করবে| তার সুগন্ধ প্রভুকে খুশী করবে| এছাড়াও বৃষের সঙ্গে নৈবেদ্য হিসেবে দেবার জন্যে শস্য এবং পেয় নৈবেদ্য প্রদানের কথা মনে রাখবে| তোমরা অবশ্যই পাপের জন্য একটি পুরুষ ছাগলও নৈবেদ্য হিসেবে প্রদান করবে|

Leviticus 6:4
কিন্তু সে এই ধরণের কোন কাজ করলে পাপের দোষে দোষী হবে, সুতরাং সে ইস্রায়েলে কিছু চুরি করেছিল, সে অন্যকে ঠকিযে ইস্রায়েলে কিছু নিয়েছিল তা সে অবশ্যই ফিরিযে দেবে| অথবা অন্য লোকরা তাকে ইস্রায়েলে কিছু তত্ত্বাবধান করার জন্য দিয়েছিল অথবা যেসব জিনিস সে পেয়েও মিথ্য়ে বলেছিল, সব কিছু সে অবশ্যই ফিরিযে দেবে|
