into the morning, לַבֹּ֙קֶר֙ bōqer boh-KER
the shadow of death צַלְמָ֔וֶת ṣalmāwet tsahl-ma-VET
and maketh the day וְי֖וֹם yôm yome
with night: לַ֣יְלָה layil la-YEEL
dark הֶחְשִׁ֑יךְ ḥāšak ha-SHAHK
that calleth הַקּוֹרֵ֣א qārāʾ ka-RA
for the waters לְמֵֽי mayim ma-YEEM
of the sea, הַיָּ֗ם yām yahm
and poureth them out וַֽיִּשְׁפְּכֵ֛ם šāpak sha-FAHK
upon עַל ʿal al
the face פְּנֵ֥י pānîm pa-NEEM
of the earth: הָאָ֖רֶץ ʾereṣ eh-RETS
The Lord יְהוָ֥ה yĕhōwâ yeh-hoh-VA
his name: שְׁמֽוֹ׃ šēm shame
