Amos 8:14
তারা শমরিয়ার পাপেরনামে শপথ করেছিল, এই বলে, ‘হে দান, আমরা তোমার দেবতার নামে শপথ করেছি|’ আমরা তোমার দেবতা বের্-শেবার নামে শপথ করছি|’ কিন্তু তারা পড়ে যাবে এবং আর কখনো উঠতে পারবে না|”

They that swear הַנִּשְׁבָּעִים֙ šābaʿ sha-VA
by the sin בְּאַשְׁמַ֣ת ʾašmâ ash-MA
of Samaria, שֹֽׁמְר֔וֹן šōmĕrôn shoh-meh-RONE
and say, וְאָמְר֗וּ ʾāmar ah-MAHR
liveth; חֵ֤י ḥay hai
Thy god, אֱלֹהֶ֙יךָ֙ ʾĕlōhîm ay-loh-HEEM
O Dan, דָּ֔ן dān dahn
liveth; וְחֵ֖י ḥay hai
and, The manner דֶּ֣רֶךְ derek deh-REK
בְּאֵֽר
of Beer-sheba שָׁ֑בַע bĕʾēr šebaʿ beh-ARE sheh-VA
even they shall fall, וְנָפְל֖וּ nāpal na-FAHL
and never וְלֹא lōʾ loh
rise up again. יָק֥וּמוּ qûm koom
עֽוֹד׃ ʿôd ode
