ইহুদীরা যখন পৌলকে ইহুদীদের প্রচলিত ইব্রীয় ভাষায় কথা বলতে শুনল, তারা শান্ত হল৷ তখন তিনি বললেন,

| silence: | ἡσυχίαν | hēsychian | ay-syoo-HEE-an |
| and | καὶ | kai | kay |
