Esther 9:30
এরপর মর্দখয় চিঠিটি রাজা অহশ্বেরশের রাজত্বের 127 টি প্রদেশের সমস্ত ইহুদীদের পাঠিয়ে দেন| মর্দখয় লোকদের বলেন, ছুটির দিনটি শান্তি আনবে এবং লোকদের একে অপরকে বিশ্বাস করতে সাহায্য করবে|

দ্রুত রাজার সমস্ত সচিবকে ডেকে পাঠানো হল| তৃতীয় মাসে অর্থাত্ সীবন মাসের 23 দিনে একাজ করা হল| এই সমস্ত সচিবরা তখন ইহুদীদের জন্য দেওয়া মর্দখয়ের নির্দেশগুলো লিখে নিল| সেই নির্দেশ ভারতবর্ষ থেকে কূশ দেশ পর্য়ন্ত বিস্তৃত 127 টি প্রদেশের প্রশাসক ও নেতা সকলকে পাঠানো হল| প্রত্যেকটি প্রাদেশিক ভাষায় ও সর্বজনবোধ্য ভাষায় নির্দেশগুলি লেখা হয়েছিল যাতে সবাই সহজে বুঝতে পারে| ইহুদীদের জন্য এই নির্দেশ তাদের নিজেদের ভাষায়, নিজস্ব বর্ণমালায লেখা হয়েছিল|
ইসাইয়া 39:8
তখন হিষ্কিয় যিশাইয়কে বললেন, “প্রভুর এই বার্তাটি খুব ভালো|” হিষ্কিয় এটা বলেছিলেন কারণ তিনি ভেবেছিলেন “আমি যতক্ষণ রাজা থাকব ততক্ষণ প্রকৃত শান্তি ও নিরাপত্তা থাকবে|”

সর্বশক্তিমান প্রভু বলেন, “চতুর্থ, পঞ্চম ও দশম মাসের বিশেষ দিনে তোমরা উপবাস করতে থাকো| সেইসব শোকের দিন আনন্দের দিনে পরিণত হবে| সেইসব দিন, আনন্দের হবে ও আশীর্বাদ ধন্য হয়ে উঠবে| সত্য ও শান্তিকে তোমাদের ভালোবাসা উচিত্!”
