Ezekiel 43:8
তারা আমার চৌকাঠের পাশে তাদের চৌকাঠ এবং আমার দরজায খুঁটির পাশে তাদের দরজার খুঁটি লাগিয়ে আমার নামকে লজ্জিত করবে না| অতীতে কেবল একটি দেওয়াল তাদের আমার কাছ থেকে পৃথক করত| তাই প্রত্যেকবার পাপ কাজ করে ও ভয়ঙ্কর ঐসব কাজ করে তারা আমার নামকে অপবিত্র করেছে| সেই জন্য আমি রুদ্ধ হয়ে তাদের ধ্বংস করেছিলাম|

তোমরা বিদেশীদের আমার মন্দিরে এনেছ আর সেই লোকরা প্রকৃতভাবে সুন্নত ছিল না- তারা নিজেদের সম্পূর্ণভাবে আমাকে দেয়নি| এই ভাবে তোমরা আমার মন্দির অপবিত্র করেছ| তোমরা চুক্তি ভেঙ্গে জঘন্য কাজ করেছ আর তারপর রুটি, চর্বি ও রক্তে নৈবেদ্য আমাকে দিয়েছ|

যিহূদার আগের রাজারা প্রভুর মন্দিরের প্রবেশপথে নথন মোলক নামে এক গুরুত্বপূর্ণ পদাধিকারীর ঘরের পাশে সূর্য় দেবতাকে সম্মান জানানোর জন্য একটা ঘোড়ায় টানা রথ তৈরী করে দিয়েছিলেন| য়োশিয সেই রথের ঘোড়াগুলো সরিয়ে রথটাকে পুড়িয়ে দিয়েছিলেন|
