মরুভূমি ও শহর, পূর্ব ইস্রায়েলের কেদরের গ্রামগুলি প্রভুর প্রশংসা কর| শেলাবাসীরা আনন্দগীত গাও! পর্বতশৃঙ্গ থেকে তোমরা গেযে ওঠ|
| Let the wilderness | יִשְׂא֤וּ | yiśʾû | yees-OO |
| and the cities | מִדְבָּר֙ | midbār | meed-BAHR |
| up lift thereof | וְעָרָ֔יו | wĕʿārāyw | veh-ah-RAV |
| their voice, the villages | חֲצֵרִ֖ים | ḥăṣērîm | huh-tsay-REEM |
| that Kedar | תֵּשֵׁ֣ב | tēšēb | tay-SHAVE |
| inhabit: doth | קֵדָ֑ר | qēdār | kay-DAHR |
| let the inhabitants | יָרֹ֙נּוּ֙ | yārōnnû | ya-ROH-NOO |
| of the rock | יֹ֣שְׁבֵי | yōšĕbê | YOH-sheh-vay |
| sing, | סֶ֔לַע | selaʿ | SEH-la |
| shout them let | מֵרֹ֥אשׁ | mērōš | may-ROHSH |
| from the top | הָרִ֖ים | hārîm | ha-REEM |
| of the mountains. | יִצְוָֽחוּ׃ | yiṣwāḥû | yeets-va-HOO |
