য়ে ব্যক্তি মুক্ত হস্তে দান করে সে আরও বেশী পাবে| য়ে ব্যক্তি বিতরণ করতে অস্বীকার করে সে অচিরেই গরীব হয়ে যাবে|

| that scattereth, | מְ֭פַזֵּר | mĕpazzēr | MEH-fa-zare |
| and yet | וְנוֹסָ֥ף | wĕnôsāp | veh-noh-SAHF |
| increaseth; | ע֑וֹד | ʿôd | ode |
| withholdeth that is there and | וְחֹשֵׂ֥ךְ | wĕḥōśēk | veh-hoh-SAKE |
| meet, is than more | מִ֝יֹּ֗שֶׁר | miyyōšer | MEE-YOH-sher |
| but it tendeth to poverty. | אַךְ | ʾak | ak |
