তার বদলে আপনি স্বর্গের ঈশ্বরের বিরুদ্ধাচরণ করেছেন| আপনি প্রভুর মন্দির থেকে আনা পাত্রে আপনার রাজকর্মচারী, আপনার পত্নী ও উপপত্নীদের দ্রাক্ষারস পান করার আদেশ দিয়েছেন| আপনি সোনা, রূপা, পিতল, লোহা, কাঠ ও পাথরের তৈরী সেই সব দেবতাদের প্রশংসা করেছেন| তারা কিছু দেখতে পায় না, শুনতে পায় না বা বুঝতে পারে না| কিন্তু আপনি সেই ঈশ্বরকে সম্মান দেন নি যাঁর আপনার জীবন ও কর্মের ওপর নিয়ন্ত্রণ রযেছে|

before	קָֽדָמָ֗יךְ	qŏdām	koh-DAHM
thee, and thou,	וְאַ֨נְתְּה	ʾantâ	an-TA
and thy lords,	וְרַבְרְבָנָ֜יךְ	rabrĕbān	rahv-reh-VAHN
thy wives,	שֵֽׁגְלָתָ֣ךְ	šēgāl	shay-ɡAHL
and thy concubines,	וּלְחֵנָתָךְ֮	lĕḥēnâ	leh-hay-NA
wine	חַמְרָא֮	ḥămar	huh-MAHR
have drunk	שָׁתַ֣יִן	šĕtâ	sheh-TA
	בְּהוֹן֒
the gods	וְלֵֽאלָהֵ֣י	ʾĕlāh	ay-LA
of silver,	כַסְפָּֽא	kĕsap	keh-SAHF
and gold,	וְ֠דַהֲבָא	dĕhab	deh-HAHV
of brass,	נְחָשָׁ֨א	nĕḥoš	neh-HOHSH
iron,	פַרְזְלָ֜א	parzel	pahr-ZEL
wood,	אָעָ֣א	ʾāʿ	ah
and stone,	וְאַבְנָ֗א	ʾeben	eh-VEN
which	דִּ֠י	dî	dee
not,	לָֽא	lāʾ	la
see	חָזַ֧יִן	ḥăzāʾ	huh-ZA
nor	וְלָא	lāʾ	la
hear,	שָׁמְעִ֛ין	šĕmaʿ	sheh-MA
nor	וְלָ֥א	lāʾ	la
know:	יָדְעִ֖ין	yĕdaʿ	yeh-DA
in them; and thou hast praised	שַׁבַּ֑חְתָּ	šĕbaḥ	sheh-VAHK
and the God	וְלֵֽאלָהָ֞א	ʾĕlāh	ay-LA
in whose	דִּֽי	dî	dee
thy breath	נִשְׁמְתָ֥ךְ	nišmāʾ	neesh-MA
hand	בִּידֵ֛הּ	yad	yahd
and whose all	וְכָל	kōl	kole
thy ways,	אֹרְחָתָ֥ךְ	ʾōraḥ	oh-RAHK
	לֵ֖הּ
hast thou not	לָ֥א	lāʾ	la
glorified:	הַדַּֽרְתָּ׃	hădar	huh-DAHR
