Deuteronomy 27 - WBT (Bengali)

1 And Moses with the elders of Israel commanded the people, saying, Keep all the commandments which I command you this day.মোশি এবং ইস্রায়েলের প্রবীণরা লোকদের এই আজ্ঞা করে বললেন, “আজ আমি তোমাদের য়ে আজ্ঞা দিই তার সব পালন করবে|

2 And it shall be on the day when ye shall pass over Jordan to the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, that thou shalt set thee up great stones, and plaster them with plaster:প্রভু, তোমাদের ঈশ্বর, তোমাদের য়ে দেশ দিচ্ছেন, য়ে দিন যর্দন নদী পার হয়ে তোমরা সেই দেশে প্রবেশ করবে সেদিন অবশ্যই তোমরা বড় পাথরের চাঁই স্থাপন করে তাতে প্রলেপ দেবে|

3 And thou shalt write upon them all the words of this law, when thou hast passed over, that thou mayest enter in to the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, a land that floweth with milk and honey; as the LORD God of thy fathers hath promised thee.তারপর এই পাথরগুলির উপর এই সমস্ত আজ্ঞা অবশ্যই লিখবে| যর্দন নদী পার হলে তোমরা অবশ্যই এই কাজ করবে| তারপর প্রভু তোমাদের ঈশ্বর তোমাদের য়ে দেশ দিচ্ছেন সেই দেশে প্রবেশ করবে| সেই দেশ অনেক উত্তম দ্রব্য়ে পরিপূর্ণ| প্রভু, তোমাদের পূর্বপুরুষের ঈশ্বর, এই দেশ দেবেন বলেই প্রতিজ্ঞা করেছিলেন|

4 Therefore it shall be when ye have gone over Jordan, that ye shall set up these stones, which I command you this day, in mount Ebal, and thou shalt plaster them with plaster.“এবল পর্বতে দাঁড়িয়ে আজ আমি পাথর স্থাপনের বিষয়ে তোমাদের য়ে আদেশ দিচ্ছি, যর্দন নদী পার হলে তোমরা অবশ্যই তা পালন করবে| সেই সব পাথরে তোমরা অবশ্যই চুন লেপবে|

5 And there shalt thou build an altar to the LORD thy God, an altar of stones: thou shalt not lift up any iron tool upon them.আর সেখানে তোমরা পাথর দিয়ে প্রভু তোমাদের ঈশ্বরের জন্য এক বেদী নির্মাণ করবে| সেই পাথরগুলি কাটতে লোহার য়ন্ত্রপাতি ব্যবহার করবে না|

6 Thou shalt build the altar of the LORD thy God of whole stones: and thou shalt offer on it burnt-offerings to the LORD thy God.প্রভু, তোমার ঈশ্বরের, উদ্দেশ্যে বেদী নির্মাণ করার সময় কেটে সাইজ করা পাথর ব্যবহার করবে না| সেই বেদীর উপরে প্রভু, তোমার ঈশ্বরের, উদ্দেশ্যে হোমবলি উত্সর্গ করবে|

7 And thou shalt offer peace-offerings, and shalt eat there, and rejoice before the LORD thy God.এবং সেই খানে তোমরা অবশ্যই বলি হিসেবে মঙ্গল নৈবেদ্য দান করবে এবং সেই খানেই তা খাবে| সেখানে প্রভু তোমাদের ঈশ্বরের সামনে তুমি আনন্দ করবে|

8 And thou shalt write upon the stones all the words of this law, very plainly.“তোমরা য়ে পাথর স্থাপন করেছ তাতে অবশ্যই এই সমস্ত শিক্ষা লিখবে| সেগুলো স্পষ্ট ভাবে লিখো যাতে সহজে পড়া যায়|”

9 And Moses and the priests the Levites spoke to all Israel, saying, Take heed and hearken, O Israel, this day thou art become the people of the LORD thy God.মোশি এবং যাজকরা ইস্রায়েলের লোকদের সঙ্গে কথা বললেন, “হে ইস্রায়েল, শান্ত হয়ে শোন| আজ তোমরা প্রভু তোমাদের ঈশ্বরের প্রজা হলে|

10 Thou shalt therefore obey the voice of the LORD thy God, and do his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day.সুতরাং প্রভু, তোমাদের ঈশ্বর, যা যা বলেন তার সমস্তই পালন করো| আমি আজ তাঁর য়ে সব আজ্ঞা ও বিধি আদেশ করছি তা অবশ্যই পালন করবে|”

11 And Moses charged the people the same day, saying,সেই একই দিনে মোশি লোকদের বললেন,

12 These shall stand upon mount Gerizim to bless the people, when ye have come over Jordan; Simeon, and Levi, and Judah, and Issachar, and Joseph, and Benjamin:“তোমরা যর্দন নদী পার হলে পরে শিমিযোন, লেবি, যিহূদা, ইষাখর, য়োষেফ ও বিন্যামীন এই পরিবারগোষ্ঠীগুলির লোকদের বিধিপুস্তক থেকে আশীর্বাদ পড়ার জন্য গরিষীম পাহাড়ে দাঁড়াবে|

13 And these shall stand upon mount Ebal to curse; Reuben, Gad, and Asher, and Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali.আর রূবেণ, গাদ, আশের, সবুলূন, দান ও নপ্তালি এই পরিবারগোষ্ঠীগুলি বিধিপুস্তক থেকে শাপ পড়ার জন্য এবল পর্বতে দাঁড়াবে|

14 And the Levites shall speak, and say to all the men of Israel with a loud voice,“আর লেবীয়রা সমস্ত ইস্রায়েলীয়কে জোরে চিত্কার করে বলবে:

15 Cursed be the man that maketh any graven or molten image, an abomination to the LORD, the work of the hands of the artificer, and putteth it in a secret place: and all the people shall answer, and say Amen.‘য়ে কেউ মূর্ত্তি তৈরী করে এবং সেগুলি গোপন জায়গায় রাখে, সেই অভিশপ্ত হয়| ঐ মূর্ত্তিগুলি শিল্পীর দ্বারা খোদিত বা ছাঁচে ঢালা মূর্ত্তি ছাড়া আর কিছুই নয়| প্রভু এগুলিকে ঘৃণা করেন|’ তখন সমস্ত লোক উত্তরে বলবে, ‘আমেন!’

16 Cursed be he that setteth light by his father or his mother: and all the people shall say, Amen.“লেবীয়রা বলবে, ‘পিতামাতাকে য়ে কেউ অসম্মান করে সে শাপগ্রস্ত!’ “তখন সমস্ত লোক উত্তরে বলবে, ‘আমেন!’

17 Cursed be he that removeth his neighbor's landmark: and all the people shall say, Amen.‘লেবীয়রা বলবে, ‘য়ে ব্যক্তি প্রতিবেশীর জমির চিহ্ন স্থানান্তর করে সে শাপগ্রস্ত!’ “তখন সমস্ত লোক উত্তরে বলবে, ‘আমেন!’

18 Cursed be he that maketh the blind to wander out of the way: and all the people shall say, Amen.“লেবীয়রা বলবে, ‘য়ে ব্যক্তি কোন অন্ধকে ভুল পথে চালায সে শাপগ্রস্ত!’ “তখন সমস্ত লোক উত্তরে বলবে, ‘আমেন!’

19 Cursed be he that perverteth the judgment of the stranger, fatherless, and widow: and all the people shall say, Amen.“লেবীয়রা বলবে, ‘য়ে ব্যক্তি বিদেশী, অনাথ এবং বিধবার সুবিচার করে না সে শাপগ্রস্ত!’ “তখন সমস্ত লোক উত্তরে বলবে, ‘আমেন!’

20 Cursed be he that lieth with his father's wife; because he uncovereth his father's skirt: and all the people shall say, Amen.“লেবীয়রা বলবে, ‘পিতার স্ত্রীর অর্থাত্‌ সত্‌ মাযের সাথে য়ৌন সম্পর্ক করে এমন য়ে কোন ব্যক্তি শাপগ্রস্ত|’ কারণ এই ভাবে সে তার পিতাকে অসম্মান করেছে!’ “তখন সমস্ত লোক উত্তরে বলবে, ‘আমেন!’

21 Cursed be he that lieth with any manner of beast: and all the people shall say, Amen.“লেবীয়রা বলবে, ‘য়ে কোন ধরণের পশুর সাথে য়ৌন সম্পর্কে লিপ্ত ব্যক্তি শাপগ্রস্ত!’ তখন সমস্ত লোক উত্তরে বলবে, ‘আমেন!’

22 Cursed be he that lieth with his sister, the daughter of his father, or the daughter of his mother: and all the people shall say, Amen.“লেবীয়রা বলবে, ‘য়ে ব্যক্তি তার বোনের সাথে অর্থাত্‌ তার পিতা অথবা মাতার কন্যার সাথে য়ৌন সম্পর্কে লিপ্ত হয় সে শাপগ্রস্ত!’ “তখন সমস্ত লোক উত্তরে বলবে, ‘আমেন!’

23 Cursed be he that lieth with his mother-in-law: and all the people shall say, Amen.“লেবীয়রা বলবে, ‘শাশুড়ীর সাথে য়ৌন সম্পর্ক রয়েছে এমন য়ে কোন ব্যক্তি শাপগ্রস্ত!’ “তখন সমস্ত লোক উত্তরে বলবে, ‘আমেন!’

24 Cursed be he that smiteth his neighbor secretly: and all the people shall say, Amen.“লেবীয়রা বলবে, ‘গোপনে প্রতিবেশীকে হত্যা করে এমন ব্যক্তি শাপগ্রস্ত!’ “তখন সমস্ত লোক উত্তরে বলবে, ‘আমেন!’

25 Cursed be he that taketh reward to slay an innocent person: and all the people shall say, Amen.“লেবীয়রা বলবে, ‘নির্দোষ ব্যক্তিকে হত্যা করার জন্য টাকা নেয়, এমন য়ে কোন ব্যক্তি শাপগ্রস্ত!’ “তখন সমস্ত লোক উত্তরে বলবে, ‘আমেন!’

26 Cursed be he that confirmeth not all the words of this law to do them: and all the people shall say, Amen.“লেবীয়রা বলবে, ‘কোন ব্যক্তি য়ে এই ব্যবস্থার কথা সমর্থন না করে এবং তা পালন করতে সম্মত না হয়, সে শাপগ্রস্ত!’ “তখন সমস্ত লোক উত্তরে বলবে, ‘আমেন!’
