Deuteronomy 28:45
“এই সমস্ত শাপ তোমাদের উপর আসবে| তারা তোমাদের ধাওযা করে ধরবে য়ে পর্য়ন্ত না তুমি ধ্বংস হও, কারণ তোমরা প্রভু, তোমাদের ঈশ্বরের, কথা শোন নি| তিনি তোমাদের য়ে সমস্ত আজ্ঞা ও বিধি দিয়েছিলেন তা পালন করো নি|

শএু তার তরবারি নিয়ে শহরের বাইরে রয়েছে| রোগ ও ক্ষুধা শহরের মধ্যে| যদি কোন লোক থেকে যায় তবে এক শএুসেনা তাকে হত্যা করবে| যদি সে শহরে থাকে তবে ক্ষুধা ও রোগ তাকে ধ্বংস করবে|

যেসব লোকরা রাস্তা দিয়ে যায় তারা তোমায় দেখে বিস্মযে অভিভূত এবং জেরুশালেমের লোকদের প্রতি হাততালি দেয়| জেরুশালেমের কন্যার প্রতি তারা শিস্ দেয় আর মাথা নাড়ে| তারা প্রশ্ন করে, “এই কি সেই শহর যাকে লোকে বলত ‘নিখুঁত সুন্দর শহর’ এবং ‘সারা পৃথিবীর আনন্দ’?”

প্রভু তোমাদের ঝুড়িগুলি ও পাত্রগুলিকে আশীর্বাদ করবেন এবং তা খাবারে ভরে দেবেন|
