যতক্ষণ তোমার য়ৌবন আছে ততক্ষণ তা উপভোগ কর| সুখে থাকো, তোমার প্রাণ যা চায় তাই কর| কিন্তু মনে রেখো ঈশ্বর তোমার সব কাজের বিচার করবেন|

O young man, בָּח֣וּר bāḥûr ba-HOOR
in thy youth; בְּיַלְדוּתֶ֗יךָ yaldût yahl-DOOT
cheer וִֽיטִֽיבְךָ֤ yāṭab ya-TAHV
and let thy heart לִבְּךָ֙ lēb lave
thee in the days בִּימֵ֣י yôm yome
of thy youth, בְחוּרוֹתֶ֔יךָ bĕḥurôt beh-hoo-ROTE
and walk וְהַלֵּךְ֙ hālak ha-LAHK
in the ways בְּדַרְכֵ֣י derek deh-REK
of thine heart, לִבְּךָ֔ lēb lave
and in the sight וּבְמַרְאֵ֖י marʾe mahr-EH
of thine eyes: עֵינֶ֑יךָ ʿayin ah-YEEN
but know וְדָ֕ע yādaʿ ya-DA
thou, that כִּ֧י kî kee
for עַל ʿal al
all כָּל kōl kole
these אֵ֛לֶּה ʾēlle ay-LEH
will bring יְבִֽיאֲךָ֥ bôʾ boh
God הָאֱלֹהִ֖ים ʾĕlōhîm ay-loh-HEEM
thee into judgment. בַּמִּשְׁפָּֽט׃ mišpāṭ meesh-PAHT
