রাজা অহশ্বেরশের রাজত্বের তৃতীয় বছরে তিনি তাঁর আধিকারিক ও নেতাদের জন্য একটি ভোজসভার আয়োজন করেছিলেন| পারস্য ও মাদিযার সেনাবাহিনীর প্রধান সহ সমস্ত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ নেতা ও প্রশাসকরা সেই সভায় উপস্থিত ছিলেন|

a feast	מִשְׁתֶּ֔ה	mište	meesh-TEH
unto all	לְכָל	kōl	kole
his princes	שָׂרָ֖יו	śar	sahr
and his servants;	וַֽעֲבָדָ֑יו	ʿebed	eh-VED
the power	חֵ֣יל׀	ḥayil	ha-YEEL
of Persia	פָּרַ֣ס	pāras	pa-RAHS
and Media,	וּמָדַ֗י	māday	ma-DAI
the nobles	הַֽפַּרְתְּמִ֛ים	partam	pahr-TAHM
and princes	וְשָׂרֵ֥י	śar	sahr
of the provinces,	הַמְּדִינ֖וֹת	mĕdînâ	meh-dee-NA
before him:	לְפָנָֽיו׃	pānîm	pa-NEEM
