Genesis 9:5
আমি তোমাদের জীবনের জন্য তোমাদের রক্ত দাবি করব| অর্থাত্ যদি কোনও জানোয়ার কোনও মানুষকে হত্যা করে তাহলে আমি তার প্রাণ দাবী করব এবং যদি কোন মানুষ অন্য কোনও মানুষের প্রাণ নেয় আমি তারও প্রাণ দাবী করব|

Deuteronomy 21:1
“প্রভু তোমাদের ঈশ্বর, তোমাদের য়ে দেশ দিচ্ছেন, সেখানকার ক্ষেতে যদি তোমরা কোনো মৃতদেহ পড়ে থাকতে দেখ, কিন্তু কে হত্যা করেছে তা যদি জানা না যায়,
Numbers 35:31
“যদি কোনো ব্যক্তি খুনী হয়, তাহলে তাকে অবশ্যই মৃত্যুদণ্ড দেওয়া উচিত্| অর্থ গ্রহণ করে তার শাস্তির কোনো প্রকার পরিবর্তন করো না| সেই খুনীকে অবশ্যই হত্যা করা উচিত্|
Leviticus 19:16
অন্য লোকদের বিরুদ্ধে তোমরা অবশ্যই মিথ্য়া গল্প রটিযে বেড়াবে না| এমন কিছু করবে না ইস্রায়েলেতে তোমাদের প্রতিবেশীর জীবন বিপন্ন হয়| আমিই তোমাদের প্রভু!
