Hebrews 7:5
লেবির সন্তানদের মধ্যে যাঁরা যাজক হন তাঁরা তাঁদের ভাই ইস্রায়েলের সন্তানদের কাছ থেকে বিধি-ব্যবস্থা অনুসারে এক দশমাংশ গ্রহণ করার অধিকার লাভ করেন, যদিও তাঁরা উভয়েই অব্রাহামের বংশধর৷

Numbers 17:3
লেবি গোষ্ঠীর লাঠির ওপরে হারোণের নাম লেখ| বারোটি পরিবারগোষ্ঠীর প্রত্যেকটির নেতার জন্য অবশ্যই একটি করে লাঠি থাকবে|

Numbers 16:10
যাজকদের কাজে সাহায্য করার জন্য ঈশ্বর তোমাদের অর্থাত্‌ লেবীয় গোষ্ঠীভুক্ত লোকদের নিয়ে এসেছিলেন| কিন্তু তোমরা এখন যাজক হওয়ার চেষ্টা করছো|
