সুতরাং সভাসদরা যিরমিয়কে নিয়ে গেল মল্কিযের চৌবাচচায় ফেলে দেসু়ার জন্য (মল্কিয ছিল রাজপুত্র)| চৌবাচচাটি ছিল উপাসনালয চত্বরে, সেখানে থাকতো রাজার প্রহরীরা| সভাসদরা যিরমিয়কে দড়ি দিয়ে বাঁধল এবং জলাধারে ফেলে দিল| জলাধারটিতে জল ছিল না, ছিল শুধু কাদা| এবং যিরমিয় সেই কাদার ভেতরে ডুবে গেল|

the dungeon הַבּ֣וֹר׀ bôr bore
of Malchiah מַלְכִּיָּ֣הוּ malkiyyâ mahl-kee-YA
the son בֶן bēn bane
of Hammelech, הַמֶּ֗לֶךְ melek meh-LEK
that אֲשֶׁר֙ ʾăšer uh-SHER
in the court בַּחֲצַ֣ר ḥāṣēr ha-TSARE
of the prison: הַמַּטָּרָ֔ה maṭṭārāʾ ma-ta-RA
and they let down וַיְשַׁלְּח֥וּ šālaḥ sha-LAHK
אֶֽת ʾēt ate
Jeremiah יִרְמְיָ֖הוּ yirmĕyâ yeer-meh-YA
with cords. בַּחֲבָלִ֑ים ḥebel heh-VEL
And in the dungeon וּבַבּ֤וֹר bôr bore
no אֵֽין ʾayin ah-YEEN
water, מַ֙יִם֙ mayim ma-YEEM
but כִּ֣י kî kee
אִם ʾim eem
mire: טִ֔יט ṭîṭ teet
sunk וַיִּטְבַּ֥ע ṭābaʿ ta-VA
so Jeremiah יִרְמְיָ֖הוּ yirmĕyâ yeer-meh-YA
in the mire. בַּטִּֽיט׃ ṭîṭ teet
