Judges 18:24
মীখা তাদের বলল, “তোমরা দানরা আমার মূর্ত্তিগুলো নিয়ে গেছ| আমি নিজের জন্য ঐগুলো তৈরী করেছি| তোমরা আমার যাজককে নিয়ে গেছ| আমার আর কি-ই বা আছে? তোমরা কোন মুখে আমাকে বলছ, ‘কি হয়েছে?”‘

তরবারি বাবিলের জলকে আঘাত কর| ঐসব জল শুকিয়ে যাবে| বাবিলের অসংখ্য মূর্ত্তি আছে| বাবিলের লোকরা য়ে বোকা ঐসব মূর্ত্তিরা সেটাই প্রমাণ করে| তাই ঐসব লোকদের ভাগ্য়ে অঘটন ঘটবে|
Jeremiah 51:17
কিন্তু মানুষ এতই বোকা য়ে তারা বুঝতে পারে না ঈশ্বর কি করেছেন| দক্ষ কারিগররা ভ্রান্ত দেবতার মূর্ত্তি বানায়| সেই মূর্ত্তি একমাত্র ভ্রান্ত দেবতারই| সেগুলি য়ে করেছে সেই কারিগরের বোকামি তারা দেখিয়ে দেয়| সেই মূর্ত্তি জীবন্ত নয়|
Ezekiel 23:5
“তারপর অহলা আমার প্রতি অবিশ্বস্তা হল| সেও একজন বেশ্যার মত জীবনযাপন করত| সে তার প্রেমিকদের চাইতে লাগল; নীল পোশাক পরা অশূরীয় সৈন্যদের প্রতি সে কামাসক্তা হল|
Habakkuk 2:18
সেই লোকটির ভ্রান্ত দেবতা তাকে সাহায্য করবে না| কারণ সেটা কেবল মূর্ত্তিই যা ধাতু দিয়ে মোড়া| এটা কেবল মাত্রই মূর্ত্তি| সে জন্য য়ে লোকটি মূর্ত্তি তৈরী করেছে সে মূর্ত্তির কাছ থেকে সাহায্য পাবার আশা করতে পারে না| সেই মূর্ত্তিটি কথাও বলতে পারে না|
Acts 19:26
এও তো দেখতে ও শুনতে পাচ্ছ কেবল এই ইফিষে নয়, প্রায় সমস্ত এশিয়ায় এই পৌল বহু লোককে প্রভাবিত করেছে ও এই বলে ফিরিয়েছে য়ে, মানুষের হাতে গড়া দেবতারা নাকি দেবতাই নয়৷
Revelation 17:2
তার সঙ্গে পৃথিবীর রাজারা য়ৌন পাপ করেছে, আর পৃথিবীর লোকরা তার অসত্ য়ৌন ক্রিয়ার মদিরা পান করে মত্ত হয়েছে.’
