Psalm 101
1 আমি প্রেম এবং ন্যাযের গান গাইবো| প্রভু, আমি আপনার উদ্দেশ্যে গান গাইবো|
2 আমি একজন বিচক্ষণ লোকের মত শুদ্ধ হৃদয় নিয়ে একটি শুদ্ধ জীবনযাপন করব| আপনি আমার গৃহের একান্ত অভ্য়ন্তরভাগে কখন আসবেন?
3 আমার সামনে কোন মূর্ত্তি আমি রাখবো না| ওরকম ভাবে যারা আপনার বিরুদ্ধে যায় তাদের আমি ঘৃণা করি| আমি তা করবো না!
4 আমি সত্ থাকবো| আমি কোন মন্দ কাজ করবো না|
5 যদি কেউ গোপনে তার প্রতিবেশী সম্পর্কে মন্দ কথা বলে, আমি তাকে চুপ করিয়ে দেবো| আমি লোকেদের কখনই উদ্ধত হতে দেবো না এবং তাদের ভাবতে দেবো না য়ে তারা অন্যান্যদের চেয়ে ভালো|
6 আমি সমস্ত দেশের মধ্যে সেই সব লোকেদের খুঁজবো যাদের ওপর নির্ভর করা যায়| এবং একমাত্র তাদেরই আমার সেবা করতে দেবো| যারা পবিত্র জীবনযাপন করে একমাত্র তারাই আমার সেবক হবে|
7 আমি মিথ্যেবাদীদের আমার গৃহের গোপন অভ্য়ন্তরভাগে বাস করতে দেব না|
8 এই দেশে য়ে সব মন্দ লোক বাস করে, সব সময়েই আমি তাদের ধ্বংস করবো| মন্দ লোকদের আমি প্রভুর শহর ছেড়ে য়েতে বাধ্য করবো|
1 A Psalm of David.
2 I will sing of mercy and judgment: unto thee, O Lord, will I sing.
3 I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.
4 I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me.
5 A froward heart shall depart from me: I will not know a wicked person.
6 Whoso privily slandereth his neighbour, him will I cut off: him that hath an high look and a proud heart will not I suffer.
7 Mine eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me: he that walketh in a perfect way, he shall serve me.
8 He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that telleth lies shall not tarry in my sight.
9 I will early destroy all the wicked of the land; that I may cut off all wicked doers from the city of the Lord.
