Psalm 122
1 আমি প্রচণ্ড খুশী হয়েছিলাম যখন লোকে বলেছিলো, “চল আমরা প্রভুর মন্দিরে যাই|”
2 আমরা এখানে জেরুশালেমের দ্বার প্রান্তে দাঁড়িয়ে আছি|
3 এটা নতুন জেরুশালেম! একটা সংযুক্ত শহর হিসেবে এই শহর আবার গড়ে উঠেছে|
4 এটা সেই শহর যেখানে ঈশ্বরের লোকরা যায়| প্রভুর নামের প্রশংসা করার জন্য ইস্রায়েলের লোকরা সেখানে যায়| ওরা সবাই প্রভুর পরিবারগোষ্ঠীর লোক|
5 দায়ূদের পরিবারের রাজগণ তাঁদের বিচারের সিংহাসন ঐখানেই স্থাপন করেছেন| লোকজনের বিচার করার জন্য তাঁরা তাঁদের সিংহাসন ঐখানে স্থাপন করেছেন|
6 জেরুশালেমের শান্তির জন্য প্রার্থনা কর| “আমি আশা করি যারা আপনাকে ভালোবাসে তারা ওখানে গিয়ে শান্তি পাবে| আমি আশা করি আপনার প্রাচীরের ভিতরে শান্তি থাকবে| আপনার প্রাসাদগুলি নিরাপদ থাকুক|”
7 আমার প্রতিবেশী এবং ভাইদের ভালোর জন্য আমি প্রার্থনা করি, সেখানে শান্তি থাকবে|
8 আমাদের প্রভুর মন্দিরের কল্যানের জন্য,
9 এই শহরের ভাল কিছু হোক এই মানসে আমি প্রার্থনা করি|

2 I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord.
3 Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem.
4 Jerusalem is builded as a city that is compact together:
5 Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of the Lord, unto the testimony of Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the Lord.
6 For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David.
7 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.
8 Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.
9 For my brethren and companions’ sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee.
10 Because of the house of the Lord our God I will seek thy good.
