Psalm 47
1 হে পৃথিবীর জনগণ, তোমরা হাততালি দাও! মহানন্দে ঈশ্বরের উদ্দেশ্যে ধ্বনি দাও!
2 পরাত্পর প্রভু বড় ভয়ঙ্কর| তিনি সারা পৃথিবীর মহান রাজা|
3 তিনি আমাদের অন্য লোকদের পরাজিত করতে সাহায্য করেন| ঐসব জাতিকে তিনি আমাদের অধীনস্থ করেছেন|
4 প্রভুই আমাদের জন্য নির্দিষ্ট ভূখণ্ড মনোনীত করেছেন| যাকোব যাকে তিনি ভালোবাসতেন, তাঁর জন্য তিনিই সুন্দর ভূখণ্ড মনোনীত করেছেন|
5 শিঙা ও ভেরীর শব্দের মাঝে প্রভু তাঁর সিংহাসনে আরোহণ করেন|
6 ঈশ্বরের উদ্দেশ্যে প্রশংসা কর| তাঁর প্রশংসা কর| আমাদের রাজার প্রশংসাগীত গাও| তাঁর প্রশংসা কর|
7 ঈশ্বরই সারা পৃথিবীর রাজা| তাঁরই প্রশংসা কর|
8 ঈশ্বর তাঁর পবিত্র সিংহাসনে বসেন| তিনি সব জাতিকে শাসন করেন|
9 সব জাতির নেতারা অব্রাহামের ঈশ্বরের লোকদের সঙ্গে একত্র হয়| পৃথিবীর সব জাতির সকল নেতা ঈশ্বরের অধীন| ঈশ্বর তাদের সবার ওপরে বিরাজ করেন!
1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm for the sons of Korah.
2 O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.
3 For the Lord most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth.
4 He shall subdue the people under us, and the nations under our feet.
5 He shall choose our inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob whom he loved. Selah.
6 God is gone up with a shout, the Lord with the sound of a trumpet.
7 Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises.
8 For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding.
9 God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness.
10 The princes of the people are gathered together, even the people of the God of Abraham: for the shields of the earth belong unto God: he is greatly exalted.
