Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Let your hands be strong, ye that hear in these days these words by the mouth of the prophets, which were in the day that the foundation of the house of the LORD of hosts was laid, that the temple might be built.

Haggai 2:21
”যিহূদার অধ্যক্ষ সরুব্বাবিলের কাছে গিয়ে বল য়ে আমি আকাশ ও পৃথিবীকে কাঁপিয়ে তুলব|

দারিয়াবস রাজার রাজত্বকালের দ্বিতীয় বছরের ষষ্ঠ মাসের প্রথম দিনে প্রভু হগয ভাব্বাদীর মধ্য দিয়ে সরুব্বাবিলের ও যিহোশূযের কাছে কথা বললেন| সরুব্বাবিল ছিলেন শলটীযেলের পুত্র এবং যিহূদার রাজ্যপাল এবং যিহোশূয় ছিলেন মহাযাজক| এই হল সেই বার্তা|

এছাড়াও দায়ূদ তাঁর পুত্র শলোমনকে বললেন, “ভয় পেও না| বুকে সাহস নিয়ে বীরের মতো এই কাজ শেষ করো| আমার প্রভু ঈশ্বর একাজে তোমার সহায় হবেন| কাজ শেষ না হওয়া পর্য়ন্ত তিনি বয়ং তোমার পাশে পাশে থাকবেন, তোমাকে ছেড়ে যাবেন না| তুমি অবশ্যই প্রভুর মন্দির বানাতে পারবে|

Joshua 1:8
বিধি পুস্তকে যা-যা লেখা আছে সর্বদাই সে সব মনে রেখো| ঐ পুস্তক দিন রাত পাঠ করো| তাহলে লিখিত নির্দেশগুলি তুমি নিশ্চয়ই পালন করতে পারবে| যদি এই কাজ সম্পূর্ণভাবে করতে পার তাহলে তুমি বুদ্ধিপূর্বক চলবে ও তুমি যা কিছু করবে তাতেই কৃতকার্য় হবে|

Joshua 1:6
“যিহোশূয়, শক্তিমান হও, সাহসী হও| তুমি এই লোকদের এমন ভাবে নেতৃত্ব দেবে, যাতে তারা নিজেদের দেশ অধিকার করতে পারে| আমি য়ে তাদের পিতৃপুরুষদের কাছে প্রতিশ্রুতি দিয়েছিলাম য়ে এদেশ তাদের হাতে তুলে দিয়ে যাব!
