இதோ, நான் என் சிறுமையிலே கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்திற்காக ஒரு லட்சம் தாலந்து பொன்னையும், பத்துலட்சம் தாலந்து வெள்ளியையும் நிறுத்து முடியாத திரளான வெண்கலத்தையும் இரும்பையும் சவதரித்தும், மரங்களையும் கற்களையும் சவதரித்தும் வைத்தேன், நீ இன்னும் அவைகளுக்கு அதிகமாய்ச் சவதரிப்பாய்.

“சாலொமோன், நான் கடினமான வேலை செய்து கர்த்தருக்கு ஆலயம் கட்டதிட்டமிட்டேன். நான் 3,750 டன் தங்கம் கொடுத்திருக்கிறேன். 37,500 டன் வெள்ளி கொடுத்திருக்கிறேன். நிறுத்துபார்க்க முடியாத அளவிற்கு வெண்கலமும் இரும்பும் கொடுத்திருக்கிறேன். மரமும் கற்களும் கொடுத்திருக்கிறேன். சாலொமோன், உன்னால் மேலும் சேர்க்க முடியும்.
