1 Kings 16 in Tamil

1 பாஷாவுக்கு விரோதமாகக் கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தை ஆனானியின் குமாரனாகிய யெகூவுக்கு உண்டாயிற்று, அவர்: Then the word of the LORD came to Jehu the son of Hanani against Baasha, saying,

2 நான் உன்னைத் தூளிலிருந்து உயர்த்தி, உன்னை என் ஜனமாகிய இஸ்ரவேலின்மேல் தலைவனாக வைத்திருக்கையில், நீ யெரொபெயாமின் வழியிலே நடந்து, என் ஜனமாகிய இஸ்ரவேல் தங்கள் பாவங்களால் எனக்குக் கோபமுண்டாக்கும்படி அவர்களைப் பாவஞ்செய்யப்பண்ணுகிறபடியினால், Forasmuch as I exalted thee out of the dust, and made thee prince over my people Israel; and thou hast walked in the way of Jeroboam, and hast made my people Israel to sin, to provoke me to anger with their sins;

3 இதோ, நான் பாஷாவின் பின்னடியாரையும் அவன் வீட்டாரின் பின்னடியாரையும் அழித்துப்போட்டு, உன் வீட்டை நேபாத்தின் குமாரனாகிய யெரொபெயாமின் வீட்டைப்போல ஆக்குவேன். Behold, I will take away the posterity of Baasha, and the posterity of his house; and will make thy house like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat.

4 பாஷாவின் சந்ததியிலே பட்டணத்தில் சாகிறவனை நாய்கள் தின்னும்; வெளியிலே சாகிறவனை ஆகாயத்துப் பறவைகள் தின்னும் என்றார். Him that dieth of Baasha in the city shall the dogs eat; and him that dieth of his in the fields shall the fowls of the air eat.

5 பாஷாவின் மற்ற வர்த்தமானங்களும், அவன் செய்ததும், அவனுடைய வல்லமையும், இஸ்ரவேல் ராஜாக்களின் நாளாகமப் புஸ்தகத்தில் அல்லவோ எழுதியிருக்கிறது. Now the rest of the acts of Baasha, and what he did, and his might, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?

6 பாஷா தன் பிதாக்களோடே நித்திரையடைந்து திர்சாவில் அடக்கம்பண்ணப்பட்டான்; அவன் குமாரனாகிய ஏலா அவன் ஸ்தானத்தில் ராஜாவானான். So Baasha slept with his fathers, and was buried in Tirzah: and Elah his son reigned in his stead.

7 பாஷா தன் கைகளின் செய்கையால் கர்த்தருக்குக் கோபமுண்டாக்கி, அவர் பார்வைக்குச் செய்த எல்லாப் பொல்லாப்பினிமித்தமும், அவன் யெரொபெயாமின் வீட்டாரை வெட்டிப்போட்டதினிமித்தமும், இவர்களைப்போல் ஆவான் என்று அவனுக்கும் அவன் வீட்டுக்கும் விரோதமாக ஆனானியின் குமாரனாகிய யெகூ என்னும் தீர்க்கதரிசியினால் கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தை பின்னும் உண்டாயிற்று. And also by the hand of the prophet Jehu the son of Hanani came the word of the LORD against Baasha, and against his house, even for all the evil that he did in the sight of the LORD, in provoking him to anger with the work of his hands, in being like the house of Jeroboam; and because he killed him.

8 யூதாவின் ராஜாவான ஆசாவின் இருபத்தாறாம் வருஷத்திலே பாஷாவின் குமாரனாகிய ஏலா இஸ்ரவேலின்மேல் திர்சாவிலே ராஜாவாகி இரண்டு வருஷம் அரசாண்டான். In the twenty and sixth year of Asa king of Judah began Elah the son of Baasha to reign over Israel in Tirzah, two years.

9 இரதங்களில் பாதிபங்குக்குத் தலைவனாகிய சிம்ரி என்னும் அவன் ஊழியக்காரன் அவனுக்கு விரோதமாய்க் கட்டுப்பாடுபண்ணி, அவன் திர்சாவிலே அவ்விடத்து அரமனை உக்கிராணக்காரனாகிய அர்சாவின் வீட்டிலே குடித்து வெறி கொண்டிருக்கையில், And his servant Zimri, captain of half his chariots, conspired against him, as he was in Tirzah, drinking himself drunk in the house of Arza steward of his house in Tirzah.

10 சிம்ரி உள்ளே புகுந்து, யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய ஆசாவின் இருபத்தேழாம் வருஷத்தில் அவனை வெட்டிக் கொன்று போட்டு, அவன் ஸ்தானத்தில் ராஜாவானான். And Zimri went in and smote him, and killed him, in the twenty and seventh year of Asa king of Judah, and reigned in his stead.

13 கர்த்தர் தீர்க்கதரிசியாகிய யெகூவினால் பாஷாவைக்குறித்துச் சொல்லியிருந்த அவருடைய வார்த்தையின்படியே, சிம்ரி பாஷாவின் வீட்டாரையெல்லாம் அழித்துப்போட்டான். For all the sins of Baasha, and the sins of Elah his son, by which they sinned, and by which they made Israel to sin, in provoking the LORD God of Israel to anger with their vanities.

14 ஏலாவின் மற்ற வர்த்தமானங்களும், அவன் செய்தவை யாவும் இஸ்ரவேல் ராஜாக்களின் நாளாகமப் புஸ்தகத்தில் அல்லவோ எழுதியிருக்கிறது. Now the rest of the acts of Elah, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?

15 யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய ஆசாவின் இருபத்தேழாம் வருஷத்திலே சிம்ரி திர்சாவிலே ஏழுநாள் ராஜாவாயிருந்தான்; ஜனங்கள் அப்பொழுது பெலிஸ்தருக்கு இருக்கிற கிபெத்தோனுக்கு எதிராகப் பாளயமிறங்கியிருந்தார்கள். In the twenty and seventh year of Asa king of Judah did Zimri reign seven days in Tirzah. And the people were encamped against Gibbethon, which belonged to the Philistines.

16 சிம்ரி கட்டுப்பாடுபண்ணி, ராஜாவைக் கொன்றுபோட்டான் என்பதை அங்கே பாளயமிறங்கின ஜனங்கள் கேட்டபோது, இஸ்ரவேலரெல்லாம் அந்நாளிலேதானே பாளயத்திலே படைத்தலைவனாகிய உம்ரியை இஸ்ரவேல்மேல் ராஜாவாக்கினார்கள். And the people that were encamped heard say, Zimri hath conspired, and hath also slain the king: wherefore all Israel made Omri, the captain of the host, king over Israel that day in the camp.

17 அப்பொழுது உம்ரியும் அவனோடேகூட இஸ்ரவேல் அனைத்தும் கிபெத்தோனிலிருந்து வந்து, திர்சாவை முற்றிக்கை போட்டார்கள். And Omri went up from Gibbethon, and all Israel with him, and they besieged Tirzah.

18 பட்டணம் பிடிபட்டதைச் சிம்ரி கண்டபோது, அவன் ராஜாவின் வீடாகிய அரமனைக்குள் பிரவேசித்து, தான் இருக்கிற ராஜ அரமனையைத் தீக்கொளுத்தி, அதிலே செத்தான். And it came to pass, when Zimri saw that the city was taken, that he went into the palace of the king's house, and burnt the king's house over him with fire, and died.

19 அவன் கர்த்தரின் பார்வைக்குப் பொல்லாப்பானதைச் செய்து, யெரொபெயாமின் வழியிலும் அவன் இஸ்ரவேலைப் பாவஞ்செய்யப்பண்ணின அவன் பாவத்திலும் நடந்ததினால், கட்டிக்கொண்ட அவனுடைய பாவங்களினிமித்தம் அப்படி நடந்தது. For his sins which he sinned in doing evil in the sight of the LORD, in walking in the way of Jeroboam, and in his sin which he did, to make Israel to sin.

21 அப்பொழுது இஸ்ரவேல் ஜனங்கள் இரண்டு வகுப்பாய்ப் பிரிந்து, பாதி ஜனங்கள் கீனாத்தின் குமாரனாகிய திப்னியை ராஜாவாக்க, அவனைப் பின்பற்றினார்கள்; பாதி ஜனங்கள் உம்ரியைப் பின் பற்றினார்கள். Then were the people of Israel divided into two parts: half of the people followed Tibni the son of Ginath, to make him king; and half followed Omri.

22 ஆனாலும் கீனாத்தின் குமாரனாகிய திப்னியைப் பின்பற்றின ஜனங்களைப் பார்க்கிலும், உம்ரியைப் பின்பற்றின ஜனங்கள் பலத்துப் போனார்கள்; திப்னி செத்துப்போனான்; உம்ரி அரசாண்டான். But the people that followed Omri prevailed against the people that followed Tibni the son of Ginath: so Tibni died, and Omri reigned.

23 யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய ஆசாவின் முப்பத்தோராம் வருஷத்தில், உம்ரி இஸ்ரவேல்மேல் ராஜாவாகிய, பன்னிரண்டு வருஷம் ராஜ்யபாரம்பண்ணினான்; அவன் திர்சாவிலே ஆறுவருஷம் அரசாண்டு, In the thirty and first year of Asa king of Judah began Omri to reign over Israel, twelve years: six years reigned he in Tirzah.

24 பின்பு சேமேரின் கையிலிருந்து சமாரியா மலையை இரண்டு தாலந்து வெள்ளிக்கு வாங்கி, அந்த மலையின்மேல் ஒரு பட்டணத்தைக் கட்டி, அதற்கு மலையினுடைய எஜமானாயிருந்த சேமேருடைய பேரின்படியே சமாரியா என்னும் பேரைத் தரித்தான். And he bought the hill Samaria of Shemer for two talents of silver, and built on the hill, and called the name of the city which he built, after the name of Shemer, owner of the hill, Samaria.

25 உம்ரி கர்த்தரின் பார்வைக்குப் பொல்லாப்பானதைச் செய்து, தனக்கு முன்னிருந்த எல்லாரைப் பார்க்கிலும் கேடாய் நடந்து, But Omri wrought evil in the eyes of the LORD, and did worse than all that were before him.

26 நேபாத்தின் குமாரனாகிய யெரொபெயாமின் சகல வழியிலும், இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்குத் தங்கள் வீணான விக்கிரகங்களாலே கோபம் மூட்டும்படியாய் இஸ்ரவேலைப் பாவஞ்செய்யப்பண்ணின அவனுடைய பாவங்களிலும் நடந்தான். For he walked in all the way of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and in his sin wherewith he made Israel to sin, to provoke the LORD God of Israel to anger with their vanities.

27 உம்ரி செய்த அவனுடைய மற்ற வர்த்தமானங்களும், அவன் காண்பித்த வல்லமையும், இஸ்ரவேல் ராஜாக்களின் நாளாகமப் புஸ்தகத்தில் அல்லவோ எழுதியிருக்கிறது. Now the rest of the acts of Omri which he did, and his might that he showed, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?

28 உம்ரி தன் பிதாக்களோடே நித்திரையடைந்து, சமாரியாவிலே அடக்கம் பண்ணப்பட்டான்; அவன் குமாரனாகிய ஆகாப் அவன் ஸ்தானத்தில் ராஜாவானான். So Omri slept with his fathers, and was buried in Samaria: and Ahab his son reigned in his stead.

29 யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய ஆசாவின் முப்பத்தெட்டாம் வருஷத்தில் உம்ரியின் குமாரனாகிய ஆகாப் இஸ்ரவேலின்மேல் ராஜாவாகி, சமாரியாவில் இஸ்ரவேலின் மேல் இருபத்திரண்டு வருஷம் ராஜ்யபாரம்பண்ணினான். And in the thirty and eighth year of Asa king of Judah began Ahab the son of Omri to reign over Israel: and Ahab the son of Omri reigned over Israel in Samaria twenty and two years.

30 உம்ரியின் குமாரனாகிய ஆகாப், தனக்கு முன்னிருந்த எல்லாரைப்பார்க்கிலும் கர்த்தரின் பார்வைக்குப் பொல்லாப்பானதைச் செய்தான். And Ahab the son of Omri did evil in the sight of the LORD above all that were before him.

31 நேபாத்தின் குமாரனாகிய யெரொபெயாமின் பாவங்களில் நடப்பது அவனுக்குக் கொஞ்சக்காரியமென்று நினைத்தாற்போல் அவன் சீதோனியரின் ராஜாவாகிய ஏத்பாகாலின் குமாரத்தி யேசபேலை விவாகம்பண்ணினதுமல்லாமல், அவன் போய் பாகாலையும் சேவித்து அதைப் பணிந்துகொண்டு, And it came to pass, as if it had been a light thing for him to walk in the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, that he took to wife Jezebel the daughter of Ethbaal king of the Zidonians, and went and served Baal, and worshipped him.

32 தான் சமாரியாவிலே கட்டின பாகாலின் கோவிலில் பாகாலுக்குப் பலிபீடத்தை எடுப்பித்தான். And he reared up an altar for Baal in the house of Baal, which he had built in Samaria.

33 ஆகாப் ஒரு விக்கிரகத்தோப்பையும் வைத்து, இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்குக் கோபம் உண்டாக்கும்படிக்கு தனக்கு முன்னிருந்த இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜாக்களெல்லாம் செய்ததைப்பார்க்கிலும் அதிகமாய்ச் செய்துவந்தான். And Ahab made a grove; and Ahab did more to provoke the LORD God of Israel to anger than all the kings of Israel that were before him.

34 அவன் நாட்களிலே பெத்தேல் ஊரானாகிய ஈயேல் எரிகோவைக் கட்டினான்; கர்த்தர் நூனின் குமாரனாகிய யோசுவாவைக் கொண்டு சொல்லியிருந்த வார்த்தையின்படியே, அவன் அதின் அஸ்திபாரத்தைப் போடுகிறபோது, அபிராம் என்னும் தன் மூத்த குமாரனையும், அதின் வாசல்களை வைக்கிறபோது செகூப் என்னும் தன் இளையகுமாரனையும் சாகக்கொடுத்தான். In his days did Hiel the Bethelite build Jericho: he laid the foundation thereof in Abiram his firstborn, and set up the gates thereof in his youngest son Segub, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by Joshua the son of Nun.

1 Paashaavukku virothamaakak karththarutaiya vaarththai aanaaniyin kumaaranaakiya yekoovukku unndaayittaு, avar: Then the word of the LORD came to Jehu the son of Hanani against Baasha, saying,

2 Naan unnaith thoolilirunthu uyarththi, unnai en janamaakiya isravaelinmael thalaivanaaka vaiththirukkaiyil, nee yeropeyaamin valiyilae nadanthu, en janamaakiya Israel thangal paavangalaal enakkuk kopamunndaakkumpati avarkalaip paavanjaெyyappannnukirapatiyinaal, Forasmuch as I exalted thee out of the dust, and made thee prince over my people Israel; and thou hast walked in the way of Jeroboam, and hast made my people Israel to sin, to provoke me to anger with their sins;

3 Itho, naan paashaavin pinnatiyaaraiyum avan veettarin pinnatiyaaraiyum aliththuppottu, un veettaை naepaaththin kumaaranaakiya yeropeyaamin veettaைppola aakkuvaen. Behold, I will take away the posterity of Baasha, and the posterity of his house; and will make thy house like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat.

4 Paashaavin santhathiyilae pattanaththil saakiravanai naaykal thinnum; veliyilae saakiravanai aakaayaththup paravaikal thinnum entar. Him that dieth of Baasha in the city shall the dogs eat; and him that dieth of his in the fields shall the fowls of the air eat.

5 Paashaavin matta varththamaanangalum, avan seythathum, avanutaiya vallamaiyum, Israel raajaakkalin naalaakamap pusthakaththil allavo eluthiyirukkirathu. Now the rest of the acts of Baasha, and what he did, and his might, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?

6 Paashaa than pithaakkalotae niththiraiyatainthu thirsaavil adakkampannnappattan; avan kumaaranaakiya aelaa avan sthaanaththil raajaavaanaan. So Baasha slept with his fathers, and was buried in Tirzah: and Elah his son reigned in his stead.

7 Paashaa than kaikalin seykaiyaal karththarukkuk kopamunndaakki, avar paarvaikkuch seytha ellaap pollaappinimiththamum, avan yeropeyaamin veettarai vettippottathinimiththamum, ivarkalaippol aavaan entu avanukkum avan veettukkum virothamaaka aanaaniyin kumaaranaakiya yekoo ennum theerkkatharisiyinaal karththarutaiya vaarththai pinnum unndaayittaு. And also by the hand of the prophet Jehu the son of Hanani came the word of the LORD against Baasha, and against his house, even for all the evil that he did in the sight of the LORD, in provoking him to anger with the work of his hands, in being like the house of Jeroboam; and because he killed him.

8 Yoothaavin raajaavaana aasaavin irupaththaaraam varushaththilae paashaavin kumaaranaakiya aelaa isravaelinmael thirsaavilae raajaavaaki iranndu varusham arasaanndaan. In the twenty and sixth year of Asa king of Judah began Elah the son of Baasha to reign over Israel in Tirzah, two years.

9 Irathangalil paathipangukkuth thalaivanaakiya simri ennum avan ooliyakkaaran avanukku virothamaayk kattuppaadupannnni, avan thirsaavilae avvidaththu aramanai ukkiraanakkaaranaakiya arsaavin veettilae kutiththu veri konntirukkaiyil, And his servant Zimri, captain of half his chariots, conspired against him, as he was in Tirzah, drinking himself drunk in the house of Arza steward of his house in Tirzah.

10 Simri ullae pukunthu, yoothaavin raajaavaakiya aasaavin irupaththaelaam varushaththil avanai vettik kontu pottu, avan sthaanaththil raajaavaanaan. And Zimri went in and smote him, and killed him, in the twenty and seventh year of Asa king of Judah, and reigned in his stead.

11 Avan raajaavaaki, singaasanaththin mael utkaarnthapothu, avan paashaavin veettaraiyellaam vettippottan; avan inaththaaraiyaakilum, avan sinaekitharaiyaakilum, suvaril neervidum oru naayaiyaakilum, avan uyirotae vaikkavillai. And it came to pass, when he began to reign, as soon as he sat on his throne, that he slew all the house of Baasha: he left him not one that pisseth against a wall, neither of his kinsfolk, nor of his friends.

12 Appatiyae paashaavum, avan kumaaranaakiya aelaavum, thangal veennaana vikkirakangalinaalae isravaelin thaevanaakiya karththarukkuk kopamunndaakkich seythathum isravaelaich seyyappannnninathumaana avarkalutaiya ellaap paavangalinimiththamum, Thus did Zimri destroy all the house of Baasha, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake against Baasha by Jehu the prophet.

13 Karththar theerkkatharisiyaakiya yekoovinaal paashaavaikkuriththuch solliyiruntha avarutaiya vaarththaiyinpatiyae, simri paashaavin veettaraiyellaam aliththuppottan. For all the sins of Baasha, and the sins of Elah his son, by which they sinned, and by which they made Israel to sin, in provoking the LORD God of Israel to anger with their vanities.

14 Aelaavin matta varththamaanangalum, avan seythavai yaavum Israel raajaakkalin naalaakamap pusthakaththil allavo eluthiyirukkirathu. Now the rest of the acts of Elah, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?

15 Yoothaavin raajaavaakiya aasaavin irupaththaelaam varushaththilae simri thirsaavilae aelunaal raajaavaayirunthaan; janangal appoluthu pelistharukku irukkira kipeththonukku ethiraakap paalayamirangiyirunthaarkal. In the twenty and seventh year of Asa king of Judah did Zimri reign seven days in Tirzah. And the people were encamped against Gibbethon, which belonged to the Philistines.

16 Simri kattuppaadupannnni, raajaavaik kontupottan enpathai angae paalayamirangina janangal kaettapothu, isravaelarellaam annaalilaethaanae paalayaththilae pataiththalaivanaakiya umriyai Israelmael raajaavaakkinaarkal. And the people that were encamped heard say, Zimri hath conspired, and hath also slain the king: wherefore all Israel made Omri, the captain of the host, king over Israel that day in the camp.

17 Appoluthu umriyum avanotaekooda Israel anaiththum kipeththonilirunthu vanthu, thirsaavai muttikkai pottarkal. And Omri went up from Gibbethon, and all Israel with him, and they besieged Tirzah.

18 Pattanam pitipattathaich simri kanndapothu, avan raajaavin veedaakiya aramanaikkul piravaesiththu, thaan irukkira raaja aramanaiyaith theekkoluththi, athilae seththaan. And it came to pass, when Zimri saw that the city was taken, that he went into the palace of the king's house, and burnt the king's house over him with fire, and died.

19 Avan karththarin paarvaikkup pollaappaanathaich seythu, yeropeyaamin valiyilum avan isravaelaip paavanjaெyyappannnnina avan paavaththilum nadanthathinaal, kattikkonnda avanutaiya paavangalinimiththam appati nadanthathu. For his sins which he sinned in doing evil in the sight of the LORD, in walking in the way of Jeroboam, and in his sin which he did, to make Israel to sin.

20 Simriyin matta varththamaanangalum, avan pannnnina avanutaiya kattuppaadum Israel raajaakkalin naalaakamap pusthakaththil allavo eluthiyirukkirathu. Now the rest of the acts of Zimri, and his treason that he wrought, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?

21 Appoluthu Israel janangal iranndu vakuppaayp pirinthu, paathi janangal geenaaththin kumaaranaakiya thipniyai raajaavaakka, avanaip pinpattinaarkal; paathi janangal umriyaip pin pattinaarkal. Then were the people of Israel divided into two parts: half of the people followed Tibni the son of Ginath, to make him king; and half followed Omri.

22 Aanaalum geenaaththin kumaaranaakiya thipniyaip pinpattina janangalaip paarkkilum, umriyaip pinpattina janangal palaththup ponaarkal; thipni seththupponaan; umri arasaanndaan. But the people that followed Omri prevailed against the people that followed Tibni the son of Ginath: so Tibni died, and Omri reigned.

23 Yoothaavin raajaavaakiya aasaavin muppaththoraam varushaththil, umri Israelmael raajaavaakiya, panniranndu varusham raajyapaarampannnninaan; avan thirsaavilae aaraுvarusham arasaanndu, In the thirty and first year of Asa king of Judah began Omri to reign over Israel, twelve years: six years reigned he in Tirzah.
