கொழுப்பைத் தகனிக்கிறதற்கு முன்னும், ஆசாரியனுடைய வேலைக்காரன் வந்து பலியிடுகிற மனுஷனை நோக்கி: ஆசாரியனுக்குப் பொரிக்கும்படி இறைச்சிகொடு; பச்சை இறைச்சியே அல்லாமல், அவித்ததை உன்கையிலே வாங்குகிறதில்லை என்பான்.

ஆனால் ஏலியின் பிள்ளைகளோ இப்படிச் செய்யவில்லை. பலிபீடத்தில் கொழுப்பு எரிக்கப்படுமுன்னரே அவர்களின் வேலைக்காரர்கள் பலி கொடுக்கும் ஜனங்களிடம் சென்று, “பொறிப்பதற்காக ஆசாரியருக்குக் கொஞ்சம் இறைச்சியைக் கொடுங்கள். அவர், உங்களிடமிருந்து வேகவைத்த இறைச்சியைப் பெறமாட்டார்” என்றுச் சொல்வார்கள்.

Koluppaith thakanikkiratharku munnum, aasaariyanutaiya vaelaikkaaran vanthu paliyidukira manushanai Nnokki: aasaariyanukkup porikkumpati iraichchikodu; pachchaை iraichchiyae allaamal, aviththathai unkaiyilae vaangukirathillai enpaan.
