1 Samuel 22 in Tamil

1 தாவீது அவ்விடத்தைவிட்டுத் தப்பி, அதுல்லாம் என்னும் கெபிக்குப் போனான்; அதை, அவன் சகோதரரும் அவன் தகப்பன் வீட்டார் அனைவரும் கேட்டு, அங்கே அவனிடத்துக்குப் போனார்கள். David therefore departed thence, and escaped to the cave Adullam: and when his brethren and all his father's house heard it, they went down thither to him.

2 ஒடுக்கப்பட்டவர்கள், கடன்பட்டவர்கள், முறுமுறுக்கிறவர்கள் யாவரும் அவனோடே கூடிக்கொண்டார்கள்; அவன் அவர்களுக்குத் தலைவனானான்; இந்தப் பிரகாரமாக ஏறக்குறைய நானூறுபேர் அவனோடிருந்தார்கள். And every one that was in distress, and every one that was in debt, and every one that was discontented, gathered themselves unto him; and he became a captain over them: and there were with him about four hundred men.

4 அவர்களை மோவாபின் ராஜாவினிடத்தில் அழைத்துக்கொண்டு போய்விட்டான்; தாவீது அரணில் இருந்த நாளெல்லாம் அவர்கள் அங்கே அவனோடிருந்தார்கள். And he brought them before the king of Moab: and they dwelt with him all the while that David was in the hold.

5 பின்பு காத் என்னும் தீர்க்கதரிசி தாவீதைப் பார்த்து: நீர் அரணில் இராமல் யூதாதேசத்திற்குப் புறப்பட்டுவாரும் என்றான்; அப்பொழுது தாவீது புறப்பட்டு ஆரேத் என்னும் காட்டிலே போனான். And the prophet Gad said unto David, Abide not in the hold; depart, and get thee into the land of Judah. Then David departed, and came into the forest of Hareth.

6 தாவீதும் அவனோடிருந்த மனுஷரும் காணப்பட்ட செய்தியைச் சவுல் கேள்விப்பட்டான்; சவுல் கிபியாவைச் சேர்ந்த ராமாவில் ஒரு தோப்பிலே உட்கார்ந்து, தன்னுடைய ஊழியக்காரர் எல்லாரும் தன்னைச் சூழ்ந்துநிற்க, தன் ஈட்டியைத் தன் கையிலே பிடித்துக்கொண்டிருக்கும் போது, When Saul heard that David was discovered, and the men that were with him, (now Saul abode in Gibeah under a tree in Ramah, having his spear in his hand, and all his servants were standing about him;)

7 சவுல் தன்னண்டையில் நிற்கிற தன் ஊழியக்காரரைப் பார்த்து: பென்யமீன் புத்திரரே, கேளுங்கள்; ஈசாயின் மகன் உங்களெல்லாருக்கும் வயல்களையும் திராட்சத்தோட்டங்களையும் கொடுப்பானோ? உங்களெல்லாரையும் ஆயிரத்துக்கு அதிபதிகளும் நூற்றுக்கு அதிபதிகளுமாக வைப்பானோ? Then Saul said unto his servants that stood about him, Hear now, ye Benjamites; will the son of Jesse give every one of you fields and vineyards, and make you all captains of thousands, and captains of hundreds;

That all of you have conspired against me, and there is none that showeth me that my son hath made a league with the son of Jesse, and there is none of you that is sorry for me, or showeth unto me that my son hath stirred up my servant against me, to lie in wait, as at this day?

9 அப்பொழுது சவுலின் ஊழியக்காரரோடே நின்ற ஏதோமியனாகிய தோவேக்கு பிரதியுத்தரமாக: ஈசாயின் மகனை நோபிலிருக்கிற அகிதூபின் குமாரனாகிய அகிமெலேக்கிடத்தில் வரக்கண்டேன். Then answered Doeg the Edomite, which was set over the servants of Saul, and said, I saw the son of Jesse coming to Nob, to Ahimelech the son of Ahitub.

10 இவன் அவனுக்காகக் கர்த்தரிடத்தில் விசாரித்து, அவனுக்கு வழிக்கு போஜனத்தைக் கொடுத்து, பெலிஸ்தனாகிய கோலியாத்தின் பட்டயத்தையும் அவனுக்குக் கொடுத்தான் என்றான். And he inquired of the LORD for him, and gave him victuals, and gave him the sword of Goliath the Philistine.

11 அப்பொழுது ராஜா: அகிதூபின் குமாரனாகிய அகிமெலேக் என்னும் ஆசாரியனையும், நோபிலிருக்கிற அவன் தகப்பன் வீட்டாராகிய எல்லா ஆசாரியரையும் அழைப்பித்தான்; அவர்களெல்லாரும் ராஜாவினிடத்தில் வந்தார்கள். Then the king sent to call Ahimelech the priest, the son of Ahitub, and all his father's house, the priests that were in Nob: and they came all of them to the king.

12 அப்பொழுது சவுல்: அகிதூபின் குமாரனே கேள் என்று சொல்ல, அவன்: இதோ, இருக்கிறேன் என் ஆண்டவனே என்றான். And Saul said, Hear now, thou son of Ahitub. And he answered, Here I am, my lord.

13 அப்பொழுது சவுல் அவனை நோக்கி: நீயும் ஈசாயின் மகனும் எனக்கு விரோதமாய்க் கட்டுப்பாடுபண்ணி, இந்நாளில் இருக்கிறபடி எனக்குச் சதிபண்ண அவன் எனக்கு விரோதமாக எழும்பும்படிக்கு, நீ அவனுக்கு அப்பமும் பட்டயமும் கொடுத்து, தேவசந்நிதியில் அவனுக்காக விசாரித்தது என்ன என்றான். And Saul said unto him, Why have ye conspired against me, thou and the son of Jesse, in that thou hast given him bread, and a sword, and hast inquired of God for him, that he should rise against me, to lie in wait, as at this day?

14 அகிமெலேக் ராஜாவுக்குப் பிரதியுத்தரமாக: உம்முடைய எல்லா ஊழியக்காரரிலும் தாவீதைப்போல, ராஜாவுக்கு மருமகனும், உம்முடைய கட்டளைகளின்படி செய்துவருகிறவனும், உம்முடைய வீட்டிலே கனமுள்ளவனுமாயிருக்கிற உண்மையுள்ளவன் யார்? Then Ahimelech answered the king, and said, And who is so faithful among all thy servants as David, which is the king's son in law, and goeth at thy bidding, and is honorable in thine house?

15 இன்றையதினம் அவனுக்காக தேவசந்நிதியில் விசாரிக்கத் தொடங்கினேனோ? அது எனக்குத் தூரமாயிருப்பதாக; ராஜா தம்முடைய அடியானாகிய என்மேலாகிலும் என் தகப்பன் வீட்டாரில் எவன்மேலாகிலும் குற்றம் சுமத்தவேண்டாம்; உம்முடைய அடியான் இவைகளிலெல்லாம் ஒரு சிறிய காரியமாகிலும் பெரிய காரியமாகிலும் அறிந்திருந்ததில்லை என்றான். Did I then begin to inquire of God for him? be it far from me: let not the king impute any thing unto his servant, nor to all the house of my father: for thy servant knew nothing of all this, less or more.

16 ராஜாவோ: அகிமெலேக்கே, நீயும் உன் தகப்பன் வீட்டார் அனைவரும் சாகவே சாகவேண்டும் என்றான். And the king said, Thou shalt surely die, Ahimelech, thou, and all thy father's house.

17 பின்பு ராஜா தன்னண்டையிலே நிற்கிற சேவகரை நோக்கி: நீங்கள் போய், கர்த்தருடைய ஆசாரியர்களைக் கொல்லுங்கள்; அவர்கள் கையும் தாவீதோடே இருக்கிறது; அவன் ஓடிப்போகிறதை அவர்கள் அறிந்திருந்தும், அதை எனக்கு வெளிப்படுத்தவில்லை என்றான்; ராஜாவின் வேலைக்காரரோ, கர்த்தருடைய ஆசாரியர்களைக் கொல்லத் தங்கள் கைகளை நீட்ட சம்மதிக்கவில்லை. And the king said unto the footmen that stood about him, Turn, and slay the priests of the LORD: because their hand also is with David, and because they knew when he fled, and did not show it to me. But the servants of the king would not put forth their hand to fall upon the priests of the LORD.

18 அப்பொழுது ராஜா தோவேக்கை நோக்கி: நீ போய் ஆசாரியர்களைக் கொன்றுபோடு என்றான்; ஏதோமியனாகிய தோவேக்கு ஆசாரியர்கள்மேல் விழுந்து, சணல்நூல் ஏபோத்தைத் தரித்திருக்கும் எண்பத்தைந்துபேரை அன்றையதினம் கொன்றான். And the king said to Doeg, Turn thou, and fall upon the priests. And Doeg the Edomite turned, and he fell upon the priests, and slew on that day fourscore and five persons that did wear a linen ephod.

19 ஆசாரியர்களின் பட்டணமாகிய நோபிலுமுள்ள புருஷரையும், ஸ்திரீகளையும், பிள்ளைகளையும், குழந்தைகளையும், மாடுகளையும், கழுதைகளையும், ஆடுகளையும் பட்டயக்கருக்கினால் வெட்டிப்போட்டான். And Nob, the city of the priests, smote he with the edge of the sword, both men and women, children and sucklings, and oxen, and asses, and sheep, with the edge of the sword.

20 அகிதூபின் குமாரனாகிய அகிமெலேக்கின் குமாரரில் அபியத்தார் என்னும் பேருள்ள ஒருவன் தப்பி, தாவீது இருக்கும் புறமாக ஓடிப்போய், And one of the sons of Ahimelech the son of Ahitub, named Abiathar, escaped, and fled after David.

21 சவுல் கர்த்தருடைய ஆசாரியர்களைக் கொன்றுபோட்ட செய்தியை தாவீதுக்கு அறிவித்தான். And Abiathar showed David that Saul had slain the LORD's priests.

22 அப்பொழுது தாவீது அபியத்தாரைப் பார்த்து: ஏதோமியனாகிய தோவேக்கு அங்கே இருந்தபடியினாலே, அவன் எவ்விதத்திலும் சவுலுக்கு அதை அறிவிப்பான் என்று அன்றையதினமே அறிந்திருந்தேன்; உன் தகப்பன் வீட்டாராகிய எல்லாருடைய மரணத்துக்கும் காரணம் நானே. And David said unto Abiathar, I knew it that day, when Doeg the Edomite was there, that he would surely tell Saul: I have occasioned the death of all the persons of thy father's house.

23 நீ என்னிடத்தில் இரு, பயப்படவேண்டாம்; என் பிராணனையும் வாங்கத்தேடுகிறவனே உன் பிராணனையும் வாங்கத்தேடுகிறான்; நீ என் ஆதரவிலே இரு என்றான். Abide thou with me, fear not: for he that seeketh my life seeketh thy life: but with me thou shalt be in safeguard.

1 David avvidaththaivittuth thappi, athullaam ennum kepikkup ponaan; athai, avan sakothararum avan thakappan veettar anaivarum kaettu, angae avanidaththukkup ponaarkal. David therefore departed thence, and escaped to the cave Adullam: and when his brethren and all his father's house heard it, they went down thither to him.

2 Odukkappattavarkal, kadanpattavarkal, muraுmuraுkkiravarkal yaavarum avanotae kootikkonndaarkal; avan avarkalukkuth thalaivanaanaan; inthap pirakaaramaaka aerakkuraiya naanooraுpaer avanotirunthaarkal. And every one that was in distress, and every one that was in debt, and every one that was discontented, gathered themselves unto him; and he became a captain over them: and there were with him about four hundred men.

3 David avvidaththaivittu movaapiyaraich serntha mispaekkup poy, movaapin raajaavaip paarththu: Dhevan ennai eppati nadaththuvaar entu naan ariyumattum, en thakappanum en thaayum ungalidaththilae thangiyirukkumpati thayavuseyyum entu solli, And David went thence to Mizpeh of Moab: and he said unto the king of Moab, Let my father and my mother, I pray thee, come forth, and be with you, till I know what God will do for me.

4 Avarkalai movaapin raajaavinidaththil alaiththukkonndu poyvittan; David arannil iruntha naalellaam avarkal angae avanotirunthaarkal. And he brought them before the king of Moab: and they dwelt with him all the while that David was in the hold.

5 Pinpu kaath ennum theerkkatharisi thaaveethaip paarththu: neer arannil iraamal yoothaathaesaththirkup purappattuvaarum entan; appoluthu David purappattu aaraeth ennum kaattilae ponaan. And the prophet Gad said unto David, Abide not in the hold; depart, and get thee into the land of Judah. Then David departed, and came into the forest of Hareth.

6 Davidm avanotiruntha manusharum kaanappatta seythiyaich savul kaelvippattan; savul kipiyaavaich serntha raamaavil oru thoppilae utkaarnthu, thannutaiya ooliyakkaarar ellaarum thannaich soolnthunirka, than eettiyaith than kaiyilae pitiththukkonntirukkum pothu, When Saul heard that David was discovered, and the men that were with him, (now Saul abode in Gibeah under a tree in Ramah, having his spear in his hand, and all his servants were standing about him;)

7 Savul thannanntaiyil nirkira than ooliyakkaararaip paarththu: penyameen puththirarae, kaelungal; eesaayin makan ungalellaarukkum vayalkalaiyum thiraatchaththottangalaiyum koduppaano? Ungalellaaraiyum aayiraththukku athipathikalum noottaுkku athipathikalumaaka vaippaano? Then Saul said unto his servants that stood about him, Hear now, ye Benjamites; will the son of Jesse give every one of you fields and vineyards, and make you all captains of thousands, and captains of hundreds;

8 Neengalellaarum enakku virothamaakak kattuppaadu pannnnikkonndathu enna? Eesaayin makanudanae en kumaaran udanpatikkaipannnumpothu, en sevikku athai oruvanum velippaduththavillai; enakkaakap parithaapappattu, en sevikku athai velippaduththa ungalil oruvanaakilum illaiyaa? Innaalil irukkirapati enakkuch sathipannna, en kumaaran en vaelaikkaaranai enakku virothamaaka eduththuvittanae entan. That all of you have conspired against me, and there is none that showeth me that my son hath made a league with the son of Jesse, and there is none of you that is sorry for me, or showeth unto me that my son hath stirred up my servant against me, to lie in wait, as at this day?

9 Appoluthu savulin ooliyakkaararotae ninta aethomiyanaakiya thovaekku pirathiyuththaramaaka: eesaayin makanai Nnopilirukkira akithoopin kumaaranaakiya akimelaekkidaththil varakkanntaen. Then answered Doeg the Edomite, which was set over the servants of Saul, and said, I saw the son of Jesse coming to Nob, to Ahimelech the son of Ahitub.

10 Ivan avanukkaakak karththaridaththil visaariththu, avanukku valikku pojanaththaik koduththu, pelisthanaakiya koliyaaththin pattayaththaiyum avanukkuk koduththaan entan. And he inquired of the LORD for him, and gave him victuals, and gave him the sword of Goliath the Philistine.

11 Appoluthu raajaa: akithoopin kumaaranaakiya akimelaek ennum aasaariyanaiyum, Nnopilirukkira avan thakappan veettaraakiya ellaa aasaariyaraiyum alaippiththaan; avarkalellaarum raajaavinidaththil vanthaarkal. Then the king sent to call Ahimelech the priest, the son of Ahitub, and all his father's house, the priests that were in Nob: and they came all of them to the king.

12 Appoluthu savul: akithoopin kumaaranae kael entu solla, avan: itho, irukkiraேn en aanndavanae entan. And Saul said, Hear now, thou son of Ahitub. And he answered, Here I am, my lord.

13 Appoluthu savul avanai Nnokki: neeyum eesaayin makanum enakku virothamaayk kattuppaadupannnni, innaalil irukkirapati enakkuch sathipannna avan enakku virothamaaka elumpumpatikku, nee avanukku appamum pattayamum koduththu, thaevasannithiyil avanukkaaka visaariththathu enna entan. And Saul said unto him, Why have ye conspired against me, thou and the son of Jesse, in that thou hast given him bread, and a sword, and hast inquired of God for him, that he should rise against me, to lie in wait, as at this day?

14 Akimelaek raajaavukkup pirathiyuththaramaaka: ummutaiya ellaa ooliyakkaararilum thaaveethaippola, raajaavukku marumakanum, ummutaiya kattalaikalinpati seythuvarukiravanum, ummutaiya veettilae kanamullavanumaayirukkira unnmaiyullavan yaar? Then Ahimelech answered the king, and said, And who is so faithful among all thy servants as David, which is the king's son in law, and goeth at thy bidding, and is honorable in thine house?

15 Intaiyathinam avanukkaaka thaevasannithiyil visaarikkath thodanginaeno? Athu enakkuth thooramaayiruppathaaka; raajaa thammutaiya atiyaanaakiya enmaelaakilum en thakappan veettaril evanmaelaakilum kuttam sumaththavaenndaam; ummutaiya atiyaan ivaikalilellaam oru siriya kaariyamaakilum periya kaariyamaakilum arinthirunthathillai entan. Did I then begin to inquire of God for him? be it far from me: let not the king impute any thing unto his servant, nor to all the house of my father: for thy servant knew nothing of all this, less or more.

16 Raajaavo: akimelaekkae, neeyum un thakappan veettar anaivarum saakavae saakavaenndum entan. And the king said, Thou shalt surely die, Ahimelech, thou, and all thy father's house.

17 Pinpu raajaa thannanntaiyilae nirkira sevakarai Nnokki: neengal poy, karththarutaiya aasaariyarkalaik kollungal; avarkal kaiyum thaaveethotae irukkirathu; avan otippokirathai avarkal arinthirunthum, athai enakku velippaduththavillai entan; raajaavin vaelaikkaararo, karththarutaiya aasaariyarkalaik kollath thangal kaikalai neetta sammathikkavillai. And the king said unto the footmen that stood about him, Turn, and slay the priests of the LORD: because their hand also is with David, and because they knew when he fled, and did not show it to me. But the servants of the king would not put forth their hand to fall upon the priests of the LORD.

18 Appoluthu raajaa thovaekkai Nnokki: nee poy aasaariyarkalaik kontupodu entan; aethomiyanaakiya thovaekku aasaariyarkalmael vilunthu, sanalnool aepoththaith thariththirukkum ennpaththainthupaerai antaiyathinam kontan. And the king said to Doeg, Turn thou, and fall upon the priests. And Doeg the Edomite turned, and he fell upon the priests, and slew on that day fourscore and five persons that did wear a linen ephod.

19 Aasaariyarkalin pattanamaakiya Nnopilumulla purusharaiyum, sthireekalaiyum, pillaikalaiyum, kulanthaikalaiyum, maadukalaiyum, kaluthaikalaiyum, aadukalaiyum pattayakkarukkinaal vettippottan. And Nob, the city of the priests, smote he with the edge of the sword, both men and women, children and sucklings, and oxen, and asses, and sheep, with the edge of the sword.

20 Akithoopin kumaaranaakiya akimelaekkin kumaararil apiyaththaar ennum paerulla oruvan thappi, David irukkum puramaaka otippoy, And one of the sons of Ahimelech the son of Ahitub, named Abiathar, escaped, and fled after David.

21 Savul karththarutaiya aasaariyarkalaik kontupotta seythiyai Davidkku ariviththaan. And Abiathar showed David that Saul had slain the LORD's priests.

22 Appoluthu David apiyaththaaraip paarththu: aethomiyanaakiya thovaekku angae irunthapatiyinaalae, avan evvithaththilum savulukku athai arivippaan entu antaiyathinamae arinthirunthaen; un thakappan veettaraakiya ellaarutaiya maranaththukkum kaaranam naanae. And David said unto Abiathar, I knew it that day, when Doeg the Edomite was there, that he would surely tell Saul: I have occasioned the death of all the persons of thy father's house.

23 Nee ennidaththil iru, payappadavaenndaam; en piraananaiyum vaangaththaedukiravanae un piraananaiyum vaangaththaedukiraan; nee en aatharavilae iru entan. Abide thou with me, fear not: for he that seeketh my life seeketh thy life: but with me thou shalt be in safeguard.
