அப்பொழுது ராஜா, ராஜாத்தியாகிய எஸ்தரை நோக்கி: யூதர் சூசான் அரமனையில் ஐந்நூறுபேரையும் ஆமானின் பத்துக் குமாரரையும் கொன்று நிர்மூலமாக்கினார்கள்; ராஜாவின் மற்ற நாடுகளிலும் என்ன செய்திருப்பார்களோ! இப்போதும் உன் வேண்டுதல் என்ன? அது உனக்குக் கட்டளையிடப்படும்; உன் மன்றாட்டு என்ன? அதின்படி செய்யப்படும் என்றான்.

எனவே, அரசன் எஸ்தர் அரசியிடம், “யூதர்கள் சூசானில் ஆமானின் 10 மகன்களையும் சேர்த்து 500 பேரை கொன்றுள்ளனர். இப்பொழுது வேறு மாகாணங்களில் என்ன செய்ய வேண்டும் என்று நீ விரும்புகிறாய்? எனக்குச் சொல், நான் அதனை நடத்துவேன். சொல் நான் அதனைச் செய்வேன்” என்றான்.

Appoluthu raajaa, raajaaththiyaakiya estharai Nnokki: yoothar soosaan aramanaiyil ainnooraுpaeraiyum aamaanin paththuk kumaararaiyum kontu nirmoolamaakkinaarkal; raajaavin matta naadukalilum enna seythiruppaarkalo! Ippothum un vaennduthal enna? Athu unakkuk kattalaiyidappadum; un mantattu enna? Athinpati seyyappadum entan.
