மேற்கூடையிலே பார்வோனுக்காகச் சமைக்கப்பட்ட சகலவித பலகாரங்களிலும் கொஞ்சம் கொஞ்சம் இருந்தது; என் தலையின்மேல் கூடையில் இருந்தவைகளைப் பறவைகள் வந்து பட்சித்தது என்றான்.

மேற்கூடையிலே பார்வோனுக்காக சமைக்கப்பட்ட அனைத்துவித பலகாரங்களிலும் கொஞ்சம் கொஞ்சம் இருந்தது; என் தலையின் மேற்கூடையில் இருந்தவைகளைப் பறவைகள் வந்து சாப்பிட்டுவிட்டது என்றான்.

மேல் கூடையில் எல்லா வகையான சமைத்த உணவுகளும் இருந்தது. அது பார்வோனுக்கு உரியது. ஆனால் பறவைகள் அவற்றைத் தின்றுகொண்டிருந்தன” என்றான்.
