Jeremiah 40 in Tamil

1 பாபிலோனுக்குக் கொண்டுபோகும்படி எருசலேமிலும் யூதாவிலும் சிறைகளாய்ப் பிடித்துவைக்கப்பட்ட ஜனங்களுக்குள் விலங்கிடப்பட்டிருந்த எரேமியாவைக் காவற்சேனாதிபதியாகிய நேபுசராதான் விடுதலையாக்கி ராமாவிலிருந்து அனுப்பிவிட்டபின்பு, எரேமியாவுக்குக் கர்த்தரால் உண்டான வசனம்: The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, after that Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard had let him go from Ramah, when he had taken him being bound in chains among all that were carried away captive of Jerusalem and Judah, which were carried away captive unto Babylon.

2 காவற்சேனாதிபதி எரேமியாவை அழைப்பித்து, அவனை நோக்கி: உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் இந்த ஸ்தலத்துக்கு இந்தத் தீங்கு வருமென்று சொல்லியிருந்தார். And the captain of the guard took Jeremiah, and said unto him, The LORD thy God hath pronounced this evil upon this place.

3 தாம் சொன்னபடியே கர்த்தர் வரப்பண்ணியுமிருக்கிறார்; நீங்கள் கர்த்தருக்கு விரோதமாய்ப் பாவஞ்செய்து, அவருடைய சத்தத்துக்குச் செவிகொடாமற்போனீர்கள்; ஆகையால் உங்களுக்கு இந்தக் காரியம் வந்தது. Now the LORD hath brought it, and done according as he hath said: because ye have sinned against the LORD, and have not obeyed his voice, therefore this thing is come upon you.

4 இப்போதும் இதோ, உன் கைகளிலிடப்பட்ட விலங்குகளை இன்று நீக்கிப்போட்டேன்; என்னோடேகூடப் பாபிலோனுக்கு வர உனக்கு நன்மையாய͠Τ் தோன்றினால் வா, நான் உன்னைப் பத்திரமாய்ப் பார்த்துக்கொள்வேன்; என்னோடேகூடப் பாபிலோனுக்கு வர உனக்கு நன்றாய்த் தோன்றாவிட்டால், இருக்கட்டும்; இதோ, தேசமெல்லாம் உனக்கு முன்பாக இருக்கிறது, எவ்விடத்துக்குப்போக உனக்கு நன்மையும் செவ்வையுமாய்க் காண்கிறதோ அவ்விடத்துக்குப் போ என்றான். And now, behold, I loose thee this day from the chains which were upon thine hand. If it seem good unto thee to come with me into Babylon, come; and I will look well unto thee: but if it seem ill unto thee to come with me into Babylon, forbear: behold, all the land is before thee: whither it seemeth good and convenient for thee to go, thither go.

5 அவன் இன்னும் போகாமலிருக்கும்போது, அவன் இவனை நோக்கி: நீ பாபிலோன் ராஜா யூதா பட்டணங்களின்மேல் அதிகாரியாக வைத்த சாப்பானுடைய குமாரனாகிய அகிக்காமின் மகனான கெதலியாவினிடத்துக்குத் திரும்பிப்போய், அவனோடே ஜனங்களுக்குள்ளே தங்கியிரு; இல்லாவிட்டால், எவ்விடத்துக்குப் போக உனக்குச் செவ்வையாய்த் தோன்றுகிறதோ, அவ்விடத்துக்குப் போ என்று சொல்லி, காவற்சேனாதிபதி அவனுக்கு வழிச்செலவையும் வெகுமதியையும் கொடுத்து அவனை அனுப்பிவிட்டான். Now while he was not yet gone back, he said, Go back also to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan, whom the king of Babylon hath made governor over the cities of Judah, and dwell with him among the people: or go wheresoever it seemeth convenient unto thee to go. So the captain of the guard gave him victuals and a reward, and let him go.

6 அப்படியே எரேமியா மிஸ்பாவுக்கு அகிக்காமின் குமாரனாகிய கெதலியாவினிடத்தில் போய், தேசத்தில் மீதியான ஜனங்களுக்குள் அவனோடே தங்கியிருந்தான். Then went Jeremiah unto Gedaliah the son of Ahikam to Mizpah; and dwelt with him among the people that were left in the land.

7 பாபிலோன் ராஜா அகிக்காமின் குமாரனாகிய கெதலியாவைத் தேசத்தின்மேல் அதிகாரியாக்கினான் என்றும், பாபிலோனுக்குச் சிறைகளாகக் கொண்டுபோகப்பட்டிராத குடிகளில் ஏழைகளான புருஷரையும் ஸ்திரீகளையும் குழந்தைகளையும் அவனுடைய விசாரிப்புக்கு ஒப்புவித்தான் என்றும், வெளியிலிருக்கிற இராணுவர் சேர்வைக்காரர் அனைவரும் அவர்களுடைய மனுஷரும் கேட்டபோது, Now when all the captains of the forces which were in the fields, even they and their men, heard that the king of Babylon had made Gedaliah the son of Ahikam governor in the land, and had committed unto him men, and women, and children, and of the poor of the land, of them that were not carried away captive to Babylon;

8 அவர்கள் மிஸ்பாவுக்குக் கெதலியாவினிடத்தில் வந்தார்கள்; யாரெனில், நெத்தானியாவின் குமாரனாகிய இஸ்மவேலும், கரேயாவின் குமாரராகிய யோகனானும், யோனத்தானும், தன்கூமேத்தின் குமாரனாகிய செராயாவும், நெத்தோபாத்தியனாகிய ஏப்பாயின் குமாரரும், மகாத்தியனாகியனான ஒருவனுடைய குமாரனாகிய யெசனியாவும் ஆகிய இவர்களும் இவர்களைச் சேர்ந்தவர்களுமே. Then they came to Gedaliah to Mizpah, even Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and Johanan and Jonathan the sons of Kareah, and Seraiah the son of Tanhumeth, and the sons of Ephai the Netophathite, and Jezaniah the son of a Maachathite, they and their men.

9 அப்பொழுது சாப்பானுடைய குமாரனாகிய அகிக்காமின் மகன் கெதலியா அவர்களையும் அவர்கள் மனுஷரையும் நோக்கி: நீங்கள் கல்தேயரைச் சேவிக்கப் பயப்படவேண்டாம், நீங்கள் தேசத்திலிருந்து பாபிலோன் ராஜாவைச் சேவியுங்கள்; அப்பொழுது உங்களுக்கு நன்மையுண்டாகும். And Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan sware unto them and to their men, saying, Fear not to serve the Chaldeans: dwell in the land, and serve the king of Babylon, and it shall be well with you.

10 நானோவெனில், இதோ, நம்மிடத்திலே வருகிற கல்தேயரிடத்தில் சேவிக்கும்படி மிஸ்பாவிலே குடியிருக்கிறேன்; நீங்களோ போய், திராட்சரசத்தையும் பழங்களையும் எண்ணெயையும் சேர்த்து, உங்கள் பாண்டங்களில் வைத்து, உங்கள் வசமாயிருக்கிற ஊர்களில் குடியிருங்கள் என்று ஆணையிட்டுச் சொன்னான். As for me, behold, I will dwell at Mizpah, to serve the Chaldeans, which will come unto us: but ye, gather ye wine, and summer fruits, and oil, and put them in your vessels, and dwell in your cities that ye have taken.

11 மோவாபிலும் அம்மோன் புத்திரரிடத்திலும் ஏதோமிலும் சகல தேசங்களிலும் இருக்கிற யூதரும், பாபிலோன் ராஜா யூதாவில் சிலர் மீதியாயிருக்கக் கட்டளையிட்டானென்றும், சாப்பானுடைய குமாரனாகிய அகிக்காமின் மகனான கெதலியாவை அவர்கள்மேல் அதிகாரியாக்கினானென்றும், கேட்டபோது, Likewise when all the Jews that were in Moab, and among the Ammonites, and in Edom, and that were in all the countries, heard that the king of Babylon had left a remnant of Judah, and that he had set over them Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan;

12 எல்லா யூதரும் தாங்கள் துரத்துண்ட எல்லா இடங்களிலுமிருந்து, யூதா தேசத்தில் கெதலியாவினிடத்தில் மிஸ்பாவுக்கு வந்து, திராட்சரசத்தையும் பழங்களையும் மிகுதியாய்ச் சேர்த்துவைத்தார்கள் Even all the Jews returned out of all places whither they were driven, and came to the land of Judah, to Gedaliah, unto Mizpah, and gathered wine and summer fruits very much.

13 அப்பொழுது கரேயாவின் குமாரனாகிய யோகனானும் வெளியிலே இருந்த சகல இராணுவச் சேர்வைக்காரரும் மிஸ்பாவுக்குக் கெதலியாவினிடத்தில் வந்து, Moreover Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces that were in the fields, came to Gedaliah to Mizpah,

14 உம்மைக் கொன்றுபோடும்படிக்கு, அம்மோன் புத்திரரின் ராஜாவாகிய பாலிஸ் என்பவன், நெத்தானியாவின் குமாரனாகிய இஸ்மவேலை அனுப்பினானென்பதை நீர் அறியவில்லையோ என்றார்கள்' ஆனாலும் அகிக்காமின் குமாரனாகிய கெதலியா அவர்கள் வார்த்தையை நம்பவில்லை. And said unto him, Dost thou certainly know that Baalis the king of the Ammonites hath sent Ishmael the son of Nethaniah to slay thee? But Gedaliah the son of Ahikam believed them not.

15 பின்னும் கரேயாவின் குமாரனாகிய யோகனான் மிஸ்பாவிலே கெதலியாவோடே இரகசியமாய்ப் பேசி: நான் போய் ஒருவரும் அறியாமல் நெத்தானியாவின் குமாரனாகிய இஸ்மவேலை வெட்டிப்போட உத்தரவாகவேண்டும்; உம்மிடத்தில் சேர்ந்த யூதரெல்லாரும் சிதறுண்டுபோகவும் யூதாவில் மீந்தவர்கள் அழியவும் அவன் உம்மைக் கொன்றுபோடவேண்டியதென்ன என்றான். Then Johanan the son of Kareah spake to Gedaliah in Mizpah secretly saying, Let me go, I pray thee, and I will slay Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and no man shall know it: wherefore should he slay thee, that all the Jews which are gathered unto thee should be scattered, and the remnant in Judah perish?

16 ஆனாலும் அகிக்காமின் குமாரனாகிய கெதலியா கரேயாவின் குமாரனாகிய யோகனானை நோக்கி: நீ இந்தக் காரியத்தைச் செய்யாதே; இஸ்மவேலின்மேல் நீ பொய் சொல்லுகிறாய் என்றான். But Gedaliah the son of Ahikam said unto Johanan the son of Kareah, Thou shalt not do this thing: for thou speakest falsely of Ishmael.

1 Paapilonukkuk konndupokumpati erusalaemilum yoothaavilum siraikalaayp pitiththuvaikkappatta janangalukkul vilangidappattiruntha eraemiyaavaik kaavarsenaathipathiyaakiya naepusaraathaan viduthalaiyaakki raamaavilirunthu anuppivittapinpu, eraemiyaavukkuk karththaraal unndaana vasanam: The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, after that Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard had let him go from Ramah, when he had taken him being bound in chains among all that were carried away captive of Jerusalem and Judah, which were carried away captive unto Babylon.

2 Kaavarsenaathipathi eraemiyaavai alaippiththu, avanai Nnokki: un thaevanaakiya Karththar intha sthalaththukku inthath theengu varumentu solliyirunthaar. And the captain of the guard took Jeremiah, and said unto him, The LORD thy God hath pronounced this evil upon this place.

3 Thaam sonnapatiyae Karththar varappannnniyumirukkiraar; neengal karththarukku virothamaayp paavanjaெythu, avarutaiya saththaththukkuch sevikodaamarponeerkal; aakaiyaal ungalukku inthak kaariyam vanthathu. Now the LORD hath brought it, and done according as he hath said: because ye have sinned against the LORD, and have not obeyed his voice, therefore this thing is come upon you.

4 Ippothum itho, un kaikalilidappatta vilangukalai intu neekkippottaேn; ennotaekoodap paapilonukku vara unakku nanmaiyaaya͠Τ் thontinaal vaa, naan unnaip paththiramaayp paarththukkolvaen; ennotaekoodap paapilonukku vara unakku nantayth thontavittal, irukkattum; itho, thaesamellaam unakku munpaaka irukkirathu, evvidaththukkuppoka unakku nanmaiyum sevvaiyumaayk kaannkiratho avvidaththukkup po entan. And now, behold, I loose thee this day from the chains which were upon thine hand. If it seem good unto thee to come with me into Babylon, come; and I will look well unto thee: but if it seem ill unto thee to come with me into Babylon, forbear: behold, all the land is before thee: whither it seemeth good and convenient for thee to go, thither go.

5 Avan innum pokaamalirukkumpothu, avan ivanai Nnokki: nee paapilon raajaa yoothaa pattanangalinmael athikaariyaaka vaiththa saappaanutaiya kumaaranaakiya akikkaamin makanaana kethaliyaavinidaththukkuth thirumpippoy, avanotae janangalukkullae thangiyiru; illaavittal, evvidaththukkup poka unakkuch sevvaiyaayth thontukiratho, avvidaththukkup po entu solli, kaavarsenaathipathi avanukku valichchelavaiyum vekumathiyaiyum koduththu avanai anuppivittan. Now while he was not yet gone back, he said, Go back also to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan, whom the king of Babylon hath made governor over the cities of Judah, and dwell with him among the people: or go wheresoever it seemeth convenient unto thee to go. 6 Appatiyae eraemiyaa mispaavukku akikkaamin kumaaranaakiya kethaliyaavinidaththil poy, thaesaththil meethiyaana janangalukkul avanotae thangiyirunthaan. Then went Jeremiah unto Gedaliah the son of Ahikam to Mizpah; and dwelt with him among the people that were left in the land.

7 Paapilon raajaa akikkaamin kumaaranaakiya kethaliyaavaith thaesaththinmael athikaariyaakkinaan entum, paapilonukkuch siraikalaakak konndupokappattiraatha kutikalil aelaikalaana purusharaiyum sthireekalaiyum kulanthaikalaiyum avanutaiya visaarippukku oppuviththaan entum, veliyilirukkira iraanuvar servaikkaarar anaivarum avarkalutaiya manusharum kaettapothu, Now when all the captains of the forces which were in the fields, even they and their men, heard that the king of Babylon had made Gedaliah the son of Ahikam governor in the land, and had committed unto him men, and women, and children, and of the poor of the land, of them that were not carried away captive to Babylon;

8 Avarkal mispaavukkuk kethaliyaavinidaththil vanthaarkal; yaarenil, neththaaniyaavin kumaaranaakiya ismavaelum, karaeyaavin kumaararaakiya yokanaanum, yonaththaanum, thankoomaeththin kumaaranaakiya seraayaavum, neththopaaththiyanaakiya aeppaayin kumaararum, makaaththiyanaakiyanaana oruvanutaiya kumaaranaakiya yesaniyaavum aakiya ivarkalum ivarkalaich sernthavarkalumae. Then they came to Gedaliah to Mizpah, even Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and Johanan and Jonathan the sons of Kareah, and Seraiah the son of Tanhumeth, and the sons of Ephai the Netophathite, and Jezaniah the son of a Maachathite, they and their men.

9 Appoluthu saappaanutaiya kumaaranaakiya akikkaamin makan kethaliyaa avarkalaiyum avarkal manusharaiyum Nnokki: neengal kalthaeyaraich sevikkap payappadavaenndaam, neengal thaesaththilirunthu paapilon raajaavaich seviyungal; appoluthu ungalukku nanmaiyunndaakum. And Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan sware unto them and to their men, saying, Fear not to serve the Chaldeans: dwell in the land, and serve the king of Babylon, and it shall be well with you.

10 Naanovenil, itho, nammidaththilae varukira kalthaeyaridaththil sevikkumpati mispaavilae kutiyirukkiraேn; neengalo poy, thiraatcharasaththaiyum palangalaiyum ennnneyaiyum serththu, ungal paanndangalil vaiththu, ungal vasamaayirukkira oorkalil kutiyirungal entu aannaiyittuch sonnaan. As for me, behold, I will dwell at Mizpah, to serve the Chaldeans, which will come unto us: but ye, gather ye wine, and summer fruits, and oil, and put them in your vessels, and dwell in your cities that ye have taken.

11 Movaapilum ammon puththiraridaththilum aethomilum sakala thaesangalilum irukkira yootharum, paapilon raajaa yoothaavil silar meethiyaayirukkak kattalaiyittanentum, saappaanutaiya kumaaranaakiya akikkaamin makanaana kethaliyaavai avarkalmael athikaariyaakkinaanentum, kaettapothu, Likewise when all the Jews that were in Moab, and among the Ammonites, and in Edom, and that were in all the countries, heard that the king of Babylon had left a remnant of Judah, and that he had set over them Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan;

12 Ellaa yootharum thaangal thuraththunnda ellaa idangalilumirunthu, yoothaa thaesaththil kethaliyaavinidaththil mispaavukku vanthu, thiraatcharasaththaiyum palangalaiyum mikuthiyaaych serththuvaiththaarkal Even all the Jews returned out of all places whither they were driven, and came to the land of Judah, to Gedaliah, unto Mizpah, and gathered wine and summer fruits very much.

13 Appoluthu karaeyaavin kumaaranaakiya yokanaanum veliyilae iruntha sakala iraanuvach servaikkaararum mispaavukkuk kethaliyaavinidaththil vanthu, Moreover Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces that were in the fields, came to Gedaliah to Mizpah,

14 Ummaik kontupodumpatikku, ammon puththirarin raajaavaakiya paalis enpavan, neththaaniyaavin kumaaranaakiya ismavaelai anuppinaanenpathai neer ariyavillaiyo entarkal' aanaalum akikkaamin kumaaranaakiya kethaliyaa avarkal vaarththaiyai nampavillai. And said unto him, Dost thou certainly know that Baalis the king of the Ammonites hath sent Ishmael the son of Nethaniah to slay thee? But Gedaliah the son of Ahikam believed them not.

15 Pinnum karaeyaavin kumaaranaakiya yokanaan mispaavilae kethaliyaavotae irakasiyamaayp paesi: naan poy oruvarum ariyaamal neththaaniyaavin kumaaranaakiya ismavaelai vettippoda uththaravaakavaenndum; ummidaththil serntha yootharellaarum sitharaுnndupokavum yoothaavil meenthavarkal aliyavum avan ummaik kontupodavaenntiyathenna entan. Then Johanan the son of Kareah spake to Gedaliah in Mizpah secretly saying, Let me go, I pray thee, and I will slay Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and no man shall know it: wherefore should he slay thee, that all the Jews which are gathered unto thee should be scattered, and the remnant in Judah perish?

16 Aanaalum akikkaamin kumaaranaakiya kethaliyaa karaeyaavin kumaaranaakiya yokanaanai Nnokki: nee inthak kaariyaththaich seyyaathae; ismavaelinmael nee poy sollukiraay entan. But Gedaliah the son of Ahikam said unto Johanan the son of Kareah, Thou shalt not do this thing: for thou speakest falsely of Ishmael.
