உன் குமாரன் பிழைத்திருக்கிறான் என்று இயேசு தன்னுடனே சொன்ன மணிநேரம் அதுவே என்று தகப்பன் அறிந்து, அவனும் அவன் வீட்டாரனைவரும் விசுவாசித்தார்கள்.

இயேசு, “உன் மகன் பிழைப்பான்” என்று சொன்ன நேரமும் ஒரு மணிதான் என்பதை அந்த அதிகாரி உணர்ந்துகொண்டான். ஆகையால் அவனும் அவனது வீட்டில் உள்ள அனைவரும் இயேசுவின்மீது விசுவாசம் வைத்தனர்.
