Judges 3 in Tamil

1 கானான் தேசத்தில் நடந்த சகல யுத்தங்களையும் அறியாதிருந்த இஸ்ரவேலராகிய அனைவரையும் சோதிப்பதற்காகவும், Now these are the nations which the LORD left, to prove Israel by them, even as many of Israel as had not known all the wars of Canaan;

2 இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரின் சந்ததியாரும் அதற்குமுன் யுத்தஞ்செய்ய அறியாதிருந்தவர்களும் அவைகளை அறியும்படி பழக்குவிப்பதற்காகவும், கர்த்தர் விட்டுவைத்த ஜாதிகள் யாரென்றால்; Only that the generations of the children of Israel might know, to teach them war, at the least such as before knew nothing thereof;

3 பெலிஸ்தரின் ஐந்து அதிபதிகளும், சகல கானானியரும், சீதோனியரும், பாகால் எர்மோன் துவக்கி ஆமாத்திற்குள் பிரவேசிக்கும் வரைக்கும் லீபனோனின் மலைகளிலே குடியிருக்கிற ஏவியருமே. Namely, five lords of the Philistines, and all the Canaanites, and the Sidonians, and the Hivites that dwelt in mount Lebanon, from mount Baalhermon unto the entering in of Hamath.

4 கர்த்தர் மோசேயைக்கொண்டு தங்கள் பிதாக்களுக்கு விதித்த கற்பனைகளுக்கு இஸ்ரவேலர் கீழ்ப்படிவார்களோ என்று அறியும்படி, இஸ்ரவேலரை அவர்களாலே சோதிப்பதற்காக அவர்கள் விடப்பட்டிருந்தார்கள். And they were to prove Israel by them, to know whether they would hearken unto the commandments of the LORD, which he commanded their fathers by the hand of Moses.

5 இப்படி இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர், கானானியர், ஏத்தியர், எமோரியர்,பெரிசியர், ஏவியர், எபூசியராகிய இவர்கள் நடுவே குடியிருந்து, And the children of Israel dwelt among the Canaanites, Hittites, and Amorites, and Perizzites, and Hivites, and Jebusites:

6 அவர்களுடைய குமாரத்திகளை விவாகம்பண்ணி, தங்களுடைய குமாரத்திகளை அவர்கள் குமாரருக்குக் கொடுத்து, அவர்கள் தேவர்களைச் சேவித்தார்கள். And they took their daughters to be their wives, and gave their daughters to their sons, and served their gods.

7 இப்படி இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் கர்த்தரின் பார்வைக்குப் பொல்லாப்பானதைச் செய்து, தங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரை மறந்து, பாகால்களையும் தோப்பு விக்கிரகங்களையும் சேவிக்கிறபோது, And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD, and forgat the LORD their God, and served Baalim and the groves.

8 கர்த்தர் இஸ்ரவேலின் மேல் கோபமூண்டவராகி, அவர்களை மெசொப்பொத்தாமியாவின் ராஜாவாகிய கூசான்ரிஷதாயீமின் கையிலே விற்றுப்போட்டார்; இப்படியே இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் கூசான்ரிஷதாயீமை எட்டு வருஷம் சேவித்தார்கள். Therefore the anger of the LORD was hot against Israel, and he sold them into the hand of Chushanrishathaim king of Mesopotamia: and the children of Israel served Chushanrishathaim eight years.

9 இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் கர்த்தரை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டபோது, கர்த்தர் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரை இரட்சிக்கும்படி காலேபின் தம்பியான கேனாசுடைய குமாரனாகிய ஒத்னியேல் என்னும் ஒரு ரட்சகனை அவர்களுக்கு எழும்பப்பண்ணினார். And when the children of Israel cried unto the LORD, the LORD raised up a deliverer to the children of Israel, who delivered them, even Othniel the son of Kenaz, Caleb's younger brother.

10 அவன் மேல் கர்த்தருடைய ஆவி வந்திருந்ததினால், அவன் இஸ்ரவேலை நியாயம் விசாரித்து, யுத்தம்பண்ணப் புறப்பட்டான்; கர்த்தர் மெசொப்பொத்தாமியாவின் ராஜாவாகிய கூசான்ரிஷதாயீமை அவன் கையிலே ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தார்; ஆகையால் அவன் கை கூசான்ரிஷதாயீமின் மேல் பலங்கொண்டது. And the Spirit of the LORD came upon him, and he judged Israel, and went out to war: and the LORD delivered Chushanrishathaim king of Mesopotamia into his hand; and his hand prevailed against Chushanrishathaim.

11 தேசம் நாற்பது வருஷம் அமைதலாயிருந்தது. கேனாசின் குமாரனாகிய ஒத்னியேல் மரணமடைந்தான். And the land had rest forty years. And Othniel the son of Kenaz died.

12 இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் மறுபடியும் கர்த்தரின்பார்வைக்குப் பொல்லாப்பானதைச் செய்தார்கள்; அவர்கள் கர்த்தரின் பார்வைக்குப் பொல்லாப்பானதைச் செய்தபடியால், கர்த்தர் எக்லோன் என்னும் மோவாபின் ராஜாவை இஸ்ரவேலுக்கு விரோதமாய்ப் பலக்கப்பண்ணினார். And the children of Israel did evil again in the sight of the LORD: and the LORD strengthened Eglon the king of Moab against Israel, because they had done evil in the sight of the LORD.

13 அவன் அம்மோன் புத்திரரையும் அமலேக்கியரையும் கூட்டிக்கொண்டு வந்து, இஸ்ரவேலை முறிய அடித்தான்; பேரீச்சமரங்களின் பட்டணத்தையும் பிடித்தான். And he gathered unto him the children of Ammon and Amalek, and went and smote Israel, and possessed the city of palm trees.

14 இப்படியே இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் எக்லோன் என்னும் மோவாபின் ராஜாவைப் பதினெட்டு வருஷம் சேவித்தார்கள். So the children of Israel served Eglon the king of Moab eighteen years.

15 இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் கர்த்தரை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டபோது, கர்த்தர் அவர்களுக்குப் பென்யமீன் கோத்திரத்தானாகிய கேராவின் மகன் ஏகூத் என்னும் இரட்சகனை எழும்பப்பண்ணினார்; அவன் இடதுகைப் பழக்கமுள்ளவனாயிருந்தான்; அவன் கையிலே இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் மோவாபின் ராஜாவாகிய எக்லோனுக்குக் காணிக்கை அனுப்பினார்கள். But when the children of Israel cried unto the LORD, the LORD raised them up a deliverer, Ehud the son of Gera, a Benjamite, a man lefthanded: and by him the children of Israel sent a present unto Eglon the king of Moab.

16 ஏகூத், இருபுறமும் கருக்கும் ஒரு முழ நீளமுமான ஒரு கத்தியை உண்டு பண்ணி, அதைத் தன் வஸ்திரத்துக்குள்ளே தன் வலதுபுறத்து இடுப்பிலே கட்டிக்கொண்டு, But Ehud made him a dagger which had two edges, of a cubit length; and he did gird it under his raiment upon his right thigh.

17 காணிக்கையை மோவாபின் ராஜாவாகிய எக்லோனுக்குச் செலுத்தினான்; எக்லோன் மிகவும் ஸ்தூலித்த மனுஷனாயிருந்தான். And he brought the present unto Eglon king of Moab: and Eglon was a very fat man.

18 அவன் காணிக்கையைச் செலுத்தித்தீர்ந்தபின்பு, காணிக்கையைச் சுமந்து வந்த ஜனங்களை அனுப்பிவிட்டான். And when he had made an end to offer the present, he sent away the people that bare the present.

19 அவனோ கில்காலிலுள்ள சிலைகள் இருக்கும் இடத்திலிருந்து திரும்பிவந்து; ராஜாவே, உம்மிடத்தில் சொல்லவேண்டிய இரகசியமான ஒரு வார்த்தை உண்டு என்றான். அதற்கு அவன்: பொறு என்றான்; அப்பொழுது அவனிடத்தில் நின்றயாவரும் அவனை விட்டு வெளியே போய் விட்டார்கள். But he himself turned again from the quarries that were by Gilgal, and said, I have a secret errand unto thee, O king: who said, Keep silence. And all that stood by him went out from him.

20 ஏகூத் அவன் கிட்டே போனான்; அவனோ தனக்குத் தனிப்புற இருந்த குளிர்ச்சியான அறைவீட்டில் உட்கார்ந்திருந்தான்; அப்பொழுது ஏகூத்: உம்மிடத்தில் சொல்லவேண்டிய தேவவாக்கு எனக்கு உண்டு என்றான்; அவன் தன் ஆசனத்திலிருந்து எழுந்திருந்தான். And Ehud came unto him; and he was sitting in a summer parlor, which he had for himself alone. And Ehud said, I have a message from God unto thee. And he arose out of his seat.

And the haft also went in after the blade; and the fat closed upon the blade, so that he could not draw the dagger out of his belly; and the dirt came out.

30 இப்படியே அந்நாளிலே மோவாப் இஸ்ரவேலுடைய கையின்கீழ்த் தாழ்த்தப்பட்டது; அதனாலே தேசம் எண்பது வருஷம் அமைதலாயிருந்தது. So Moab was subdued that day under the hand of Israel. And the land had rest fourscore years.

31 அவனுக்குப்பிற்பாடு ஆனாத்தின் குமாரன் சம்கார் எழும்பினான்; அவன் பெலிஸ்தரில் அறுநூறுபேரை ஒரு தாற்றுக்கோலால் முறிய அடித்தான்; அவனும் இஸ்ரவேலை இரட்சித்தான். And after him was Shamgar the son of Anath, which slew of the Philistines six hundred men with an ox goad: and he also delivered Israel.

1 Kaanaan thaesaththil nadantha sakala yuththangalaiyum ariyaathiruntha isravaelaraakiya anaivaraiyum sothippatharkaakavum, Now these are the nations which the LORD left, to prove Israel by them, even as many of Israel as had not known all the wars of Canaan;

3 Pelistharin ainthu athipathikalum, sakala kaanaaniyarum, seethoniyarum, paakaal ermon thuvakki aamaaththirkul piravaesikkum varaikkum leepanonin malaikalilae kutiyirukkira aeviyarumae. Namely, five lords of the Philistines, and all the Canaanites, and the Sidonians, and the Hivites that dwelt in mount Lebanon, from mount Baalhermon unto the entering in of Hamath.

4 Karththar Mosesyaikkonndu thangal pithaakkalukku vithiththa karpanaikalukku isravaelar geelppativaarkalo entu ariyumpati, isravaelarai avarkalaalae sothippatharkaaka avarkal vidappattirunthaarkal. And they were to prove Israel by them, to know whether they would hearken unto the commandments of the LORD, which he commanded their fathers by the hand of Moses.

7 Ippati Israel puththirar karththarin paarvaikkup pollaappaanathaich seythu, thangal thaevanaakiya karththarai maranthu, paakaalkalaiyum thoppu vikkirakangalaiyum sevikkirapothu, And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD, and forgat the LORD their God, and served Baalim and the groves.

8 Karththar isravaelin mael kopamoonndavaraaki, avarkalai mesoppoththaamiyaavin raajaavaakiya koosaanrishathaayeemin kaiyilae vittaுppottar; ippatiyae Israel puththirar koosaanrishathaayeemai ettu varusham seviththaarkal. 10 Avan mael karththarutaiya aavi vanthirunthathinaal, avan isravaelai niyaayam visaariththu, yuththampannnap purappattan; Karththar mesoppoththaamiyaavin raajaavaakiya koosaanrishathaayeemai avan kaiyilae oppukkoduththaar; aakaiyaal avan kai koosaanrishathaayeemin mael palangaொnndathu. 12 Israel puththirar maraுpatiyum karththarinpaarvaikkup pollaappaanathaich seythaarkal; avarkal karththarin paarvaikkup pollaappaanathaich seythapatiyaal, Karththar eklon ennum movaapin raajaavai isravaelukku virothamaayp palakkappannnninaar. And the children of Israel did evil again in the sight of the LORD: and the LORD strengthened Eglon the king of Moab against Israel, because they had done evil in the sight of the LORD.

13 Avan ammon puththiraraiyum amalaekkiyaraiyum koottikkonndu vanthu, isravaelai muriya atiththaan; paereechchamarangalin pattanaththaiyum pitiththaan. And he gathered unto him the children of Ammon and Amalek, and went and smote Israel, and possessed the city of palm trees.

14 Ippatiyae Israel puththirar eklon ennum movaapin raajaavaip pathinettu varusham seviththaarkal. So the children of Israel served Eglon the king of Moab eighteen years.

16 Aekooth, irupuramum karukkum oru mula neelamumaana oru kaththiyai unndu pannnni, athaith than vasthiraththukkullae than valathupuraththu iduppilae kattikkonndu, But Ehud made him a dagger which had two edges, of a cubit length; and he did gird it under his raiment upon his right thigh.

17 Kaannikkaiyai movaapin raajaavaakiya eklonukkuch seluththinaan; eklon mikavum sthooliththa manushanaayirunthaan. And he brought the present unto Eglon king of Moab: and Eglon was a very fat man.

18 Avan kaannikkaiyaich seluththiththeernthapinpu, kaannikkaiyaich sumanthu vantha janangalai anuppivittan. And when he had made an end to offer the present, he sent away the people that bare the present.

19 Avano kilkaalilulla silaikal irukkum idaththilirunthu thirumpivanthu; raajaavae, ummidaththil sollavaenntiya irakasiyamaana oru vaarththai unndu entan. Atharku avan: poraு entan; appoluthu avanidaththil nintayaavarum avanai vittu veliyae poy vittarkal. And Ehud came unto him; and he was sitting in a summer parlor, which he had for himself alone. And Ehud said, I have a message from God unto thee. And he arose out of his seat.

21 Udanae aekooth than idathukaiyai neetti, than valathupuraththu iduppilae kattiyiruntha kaththiyai uruvi, athai avan vayittirkul paaychchinaan. And Ehud put forth his left hand, and took the dagger from his right thigh, and thrust it into his belly:

22 Alakotaekoodak kaippitiyum ullae pukunthathu; avanutaiya vayittaுkkul pona kaththiyai ivan ilukkak koodaathapatikku, ninam alakaich suttik konndataiththathu; athu pin puraththilae purappattathu. 24 Avan ponapinpu ooliyakkaarar vanthu paarththaarkal; itho, araiveettin kathavu poottiyirunthathu; aakaiyaal avar anthak kulirchchiyaana araiyilae malajalaathikkiraaraakkum entarkal. When he was gone out, his servants came; and when they saw that, behold, the doors of the parlor were locked, they said, Surely he covereth his feet in his summer chamber.

25 Avarkal saliththuppokumattum kaaththirunthaarkal; avan araiveettin kathavaith thirakkavillai; aakaiyaal oru thiravukolai eduththuth thiranthaarkal; itho, avarkal aanndavan tharaiyilae seththukkidanthaan. And they tarried till they were ashamed: and, behold, he opened not the doors of the parlor; therefore they took a key, and opened them: and, behold, their lord was fallen down dead on the earth.

26 Avarkal thaamathiththukkonntirunthapothu, aekooth otippoy, silaikalulla idaththaik kadanthu, seyiraaththaich sernthu thappinaan. And Ehud escaped while they tarried, and passed beyond the quarries, and escaped unto Seirath.

27 Angae vanthapothu eppiraayeem malaiyil ekkaalam oothinaan; appoluthu Israel puththirar avanotaekooda malaiyilirunthu iranginaarkal; avan avarkalukku munpaaka nadanthu; And it came to pass, when he was come, that he blew a trumpet in the mountain of Ephraim, and the children of Israel went down with him from the mount, and he before them.

28 Ennaip pinthodarnthu vaarungal; Karththar ungal pakainjaraakiya movaapiyarai ungal kaikalil oppukkoduththaar entan. Avarkal avanaip pinthodarnthupoy, movaapukku ethiraana yorthaan thuraikalaip pitiththu, oruvanaiyum kadanthupokavottamal, And he said unto them, Follow after me: for the LORD hath delivered your enemies the Moabites into your hand.
