1பின்பு கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி: ஆரோனின் குமாரராகிய ஆசாரியர்களில் ஒருவனும் தன் ஜனத்தாரில் இறந்துபோன யாதொருவருக்காகத் தங்களை தீட்டுப்படுத்தலாகாது என்று அவர்களோடே சொல்.And the LORD said unto Moses, Speak unto the priests the sons of Aaron, and say unto them, There shall none be defiled for the dead among his people:
2தன் தாயும், தன் தகப்பனும், தன் குமாரனும், தன் குமாரத்தியும், தன் சகோதரனும்,But for his kin, that is near unto him, that is, for his mother, and for his father, and for his son, and for his daughter, and for his brother.
3புருஷனுக்கு வாழ்க்கைப்படாமல் தன்னிடத்திலிருக்கிற கன்னியாஸ்திரீயான தன் சகோதரியுமாகிய தனக்கு நெருங்கின இனமான இவர்களுடைய சாவுக்காகத் தீட்டுப்படலாம்.And for his sister a virgin, that is nigh unto him, which hath had no husband; for her may he be defiled.
4தன் ஜனத்தாரில் பெரியவனாகிய அவன் வேறொருவருக்காகவும் தன்னைப் பரிசுத்தக்குலைச்சலாக்கித் தீட்டுப்படுத்தலாகாது.But he shall not defile himself, being a chief man among his people, to profane himself.
5அவர்கள் தங்கள் தலையை மொட்டையடிக்காமலும், தங்கள் தாடியின் ஓரங்களைச் சிரைத்துப்போடாமலும், தங்கள் தேகத்தைக் கீறிக்கொள்ளாமலும் இருப்பார்களாக.They shall not make baldness upon their head, neither shall they shave off the corner of their beard, nor make any cuttings in their flesh.
6தங்கள் தேவனுடைய நாமத்தைப் பரிசுத்தக் குலைச்சலாக்காமல் அவருக்கேற்ற பரிசுத்தராயிருப்பார்களாக; அவர்கள் கர்த்தரின் தகனபலிகளையும் தங்கள் தேவனுடைய அப்பத்தையும் செலுத்துகிறவர்களாதலால் பரிசுத்தராயிருக்கவேண்டும்.They shall be holy unto their God, and not profane the name of their God: for the offerings of the LORD made by fire, and the bread of their God, they do offer: therefore they shall be holy.
7அவர்கள் தங்கள் தேவனுக்குப் பரிசுத்தமானவர்கள், ஆகையால் வேசியையாகிலும் கற்புக்குலைந்தவளையாகிலும் விவாகம்பண்ணார்களாக; தன் புருஷனாலே தள்ளப்பட்ட ஸ்திரீயையும் விவாகம்பண்ணார்களாக.They shall not take a wife that is a whore, or profane; neither shall they take a woman put away from her husband: for he is holy unto his God.
8அவன் தேவனுடைய அப்பத்தைச் செலுத்துகிறபடியால் நீ அவனைப் பரிசுத்தப்படுத்தவேண்டும்; உங்களைப் பரிசுத்தமாக்குகிற கர்த்தராகிய நான் பரிசுத்தராயிருக்கிறபடியால், அவனும் உனக்கு முன்பாகப் பரிசுத்தனாயிருப்பானாக.Thou shalt sanctify him therefore; for he offereth the bread of thy God: he shall be holy unto thee: for I the LORD, which sanctify you, am holy.
9ஆசாரியனுடைய குமாரத்தி வேசித்தனம்பண்ணி, தன்னைப் பரிசுத்தக் குலைச்சலாக்கினால், அவள் தன் தகப்பனையும் பரிசுத்தக்குலைச்சலாக்குகிறாள்; அவள் அக்கினியிலே சுட்டெரிக்கப்படக்கடவள்.And the daughter of any priest, if she profane herself by playing the whore, she profaneth her father: she shall be burnt with fire.
10தன் சகோதரருக்குள்ளே பிரதான ஆசாரியனாகத் தன் சிரசில் அபிஷேகதைலம் வார்க்கப்பட்டவனும், அவனுக்குரிய வஸ்திரங்களைத் தரிக்கும்படி பிரதிஷ்டைபண்ணப்பட்டவனுமாயிருக்கிறவன் எவனோ, அவன் தன் பாகையை எடுக்காமலும், தன் வஸ்திரங்களைக் கிழித்துக்கொள்ளாமலும்,And he that is the high priest among his brethren, upon whose head the anointing oil was poured, and that is consecrated to put on the garments, shall not uncover his head, nor rend his clothes;
11பிரேதம் கிடக்கும் இடத்தில் போகாமலும், தன் தகப்பனுக்காகவும் தன் தாய்க்காகவும் தன்னைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்திக்கொள்ளாமலும்,Neither shall he go in to any dead body, nor defile himself for his father, or for his mother;
12பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்திலிருந்து புறப்படாமலும், தன் தேவனுடைய பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்தைப் பரிசுத்தக்குலைச்சலாக்காமலும் இருப்பானாக; அவனுடைய தேவனின் அபிஷேகதைலம் என்னும் கிரீடம் அவன்மேல் இருக்கிறதே: நான் கர்த்தர்.Neither shall he go out of the sanctuary, nor profane the sanctuary of his God; for the crown of the anointing oil of his God is upon him: I am the LORD.
13கன்னிகையாயிருக்கிற பெண்ணை அவன் விவாகம்பண்ணவேண்டும்.And he shall take a wife in her virginity.
14விதவையானாலும் தள்ளப்பட்டவளையானாலும் கற்பு குலைந்தவளையானாலும் வேசியையானாலும் விவாகம்பண்ணாமல், தன் ஜனங்களுக்குள்ளே ஒரு கன்னிகையை விவாகம்பண்ணக்கடவன்.A widow, or a divorced woman, or profane, or an harlot, these shall he not take: but he shall take a virgin of his own people to wife.
15அவன் தன் வித்தைத் தன் ஜனங்களுக்குள்ளே பரிசுத்தக் குலைச்சலாக்காமல் இருப்பானாக; நான் அவனைப் பரிசுத்தமாக்குகிற கர்த்தர் என்று சொல் என்றார்.Neither shall he profane his seed among his people: for I the LORD do sanctify him.
16பின்னும் கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி:And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
17நீ ஆரோனோடே சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்: உன் சந்ததியாருக்குள்ளே அங்கவீனமுள்ளவன் தலைமுறைதோறும் தேவனுடைய அப்பத்தைச் செலுத்தும்படி சேரலாகாது.Speak unto Aaron, saying, Whosoever he be of thy seed in their generations that hath any blemish, let him not approach to offer the bread of his God.
18அங்கவீனமுள்ள ஒருவனும் அணுகலாகாது; குருடனானாலும், சப்பாணியானாலும், குறுகின அல்லது நீண்ட அவயவமுள்ளவனானாலும்,For whatsoever man he be that hath a blemish, he shall not approach: a blind man, or a lame, or he that hath a flat nose, or any thing superfluous,
19காலொடிந்தவனானாலும், கையொடிந்தவனானாலும்,Or a man that is broken-footed, or broken-handed,
20கூனனானாலும், குள்ளனானாலும், பூவிழுந்த கண்ணனானாலும், சொறியனானாலும், அசறுள்ளவனானாலும், விதை நசுங்கினவனானாலும் அணுகலாகாது.Or crookbacked, or a dwarf, or that hath a blemish in his eye, or be scurvy, or scabbed, or hath his stones broken;
21ஆசாரியனாகிய ஆரோனின் சந்ததியாரில் அங்கவீனமுள்ள ஒருவனும் கர்த்தரின் தகனபலிகளைச் செலுத்தச் சேரலாகாது; அவன் அங்கவீனமுள்ளவனாகையால், அவன் தேவனுடைய அப்பத்தைச் செலுத்தச் சேரலாகாது.No man that hath a blemish of the seed of Aaron the priest shall come nigh to offer the offerings of the LORD made by fire: he hath a blemish; he shall not come nigh to offer the bread of his God.
22அவன் தன் தேவனுடைய அப்பமாகிய மகா பரிசுத்தமானவைகளிலும் மற்ற பரிசுத்தமானவைகளிலும் புசிக்கலாம்.He shall eat the bread of his God, both of the most holy, and of the holy.
23ஆனாலும் அவன் அங்கவீனமுள்ளவனாகையால், அவன் என் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலங்களைப் பரிசுத்தக் குலைச்சலாக்காதபடிக்குத் திரைக்குள்ளே போகாமலும் பலிபீடத்தண்டையில் சேராமலும் இருப்பானாக; நான் அவர்களைப் பரிசுத்தமாக்குகிற கர்த்தர் என்று சொல் என்றார்.Only he shall not go in unto the vail, nor come nigh unto the altar, because he hath a blemish; that he profane not my sanctuaries: for I the LORD do sanctify them.
24மோசே இவைகளை ஆரோனோடும் அவன் குமாரரோடும் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் அனைவரோடும் சொன்னான்.And Moses told it unto Aaron, and to his sons, and unto all the children of Israel.

2Than thaayum, than thakappanum, than kumaaranum, than kumaaraththiyum, than sakotharanum,But for his kin, that is near unto him, that is, for his mother, and for his father, and for his son, and for his daughter, and for his brother.
3Purushanukku vaalkkaippadaamal thannidaththilirukkira kanniyaasthireeyaana than sakothariyumaakiya thanakku nerungina inamaana ivarkalutaiya saavukkaakath theettuppadalaam.And for his sister a virgin, that is nigh unto him, which hath had no husband; for her may he be defiled.
4Than janaththaaril periyavanaakiya avan vaeroruvarukkaakavum thannaip Parisuththakkulaichchalaakkith theettuppaduththalaakaathu.But he shall not defile himself, being a chief man among his people, to profane himself.
5Avarkal thangal thalaiyai mottaைyatikkaamalum, thangal thaatiyin orangalaich siraiththuppodaamalum, thangal thaekaththaik geerikkollaamalum iruppaarkalaaka.They shall not make baldness upon their head, neither shall they shave off the corner of their beard, nor make any cuttings in their flesh.
6Thangal thaevanutaiya naamaththaip Parisuththak kulaichchalaakkaamal avarukkaetta Parisuththaraayiruppaarkalaaka; avarkal karththarin thakanapalikalaiyum thangal thaevanutaiya appaththaiyum seluththukiravarkalaathalaal Parisuththaraayirukkavaenndum.They shall be holy unto their God, and not profane the name of their God: for the offerings of the LORD made by fire, and the bread of their God, they do offer: therefore they shall be holy.
7Avarkal thangal thaevanukkup Parisuththamaanavarkal, aakaiyaal vaesiyaiyaakilum karpukkulainthavalaiyaakilum vivaakampannnnaarkalaaka; than purushanaalae thallappatta sthireeyaiyum vivaakampannnnaarkalaaka.They shall not take a wife that is a whore, or profane; neither shall they take a woman put away from her husband: for he is holy unto his God.
8Avan thaevanutaiya appaththaich seluththukirapatiyaal nee avanaip Parisuththappaduththavaenndum; ungalaip Parisuththamaakkukira karththaraakiya naan Parisuththaraayirukkirapatiyaal, avanum unakku munpaakap Parisuththanaayiruppaanaaka.Thou shalt sanctify him therefore; for he offereth the bread of thy God: he shall be holy unto thee: for I the LORD, which sanctify you, am holy.
9Aasaariyanutaiya kumaaraththi vaesiththanampannnni, thannaip Parisuththak kulaichchalaakkinaal, aval than thakappanaiyum Parisuththakkulaichchalaakkukiraal; aval akkiniyilae sutterikkappadakkadaval.And the daughter of any priest, if she profane herself by playing the whore, she profaneth her father: she shall be burnt with fire.
10Than sakothararukkullae pirathaana aasaariyanaakath than sirasil apishaekathailam vaarkkappattavanum, avanukkuriya vasthirangalaith tharikkumpati pirathishtaipannnappattavanumaayirukkiravan evano, avan than paakaiyai edukkaamalum, than vasthirangalaik kiliththukkollaamalum,And he that is the high priest among his brethren, upon whose head the anointing oil was poured, and that is consecrated to put on the garments, shall not uncover his head, nor rend his clothes;

12Parisuththa sthalaththilirunthu purappadaamalum, than thaevanutaiya Parisuththa sthalaththaip Parisuththakkulaichchalaakkaamalum iruppaanaaka; avanutaiya thaevanin apishaekathailam ennum kireedam avanmael irukkirathae: naan Karththar.Neither shall he go out of the sanctuary, nor profane the sanctuary of his God; for the crown of the anointing oil of his God is upon him: I am the LORD.
13Kannikaiyaayirukkira pennnnai avan vivaakampannnavaenndum.And he shall take a wife in her virginity.
14Vithavaiyaanaalum thallappattavalaiyaanaalum karpu kulainthavalaiyaanaalum vaesiyaiyaanaalum vivaakampannnnaamal, than janangalukkullae oru kannikaiyai vivaakampannnakkadavan.A widow, or a divorced woman, or profane, or an harlot, these shall he not take: but he shall take a virgin of his own people to wife.
15Avan than viththaith than janangalukkullae Parisuththak kulaichchalaakkaamal iruppaanaaka; naan avanaip Parisuththamaakkukira Karththar entu sol entar.Neither shall he profane his seed among his people: for I the LORD do sanctify him.
16Pinnum Karththar Mosesyai Nnokki:And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
17Nee aaronotae sollavaenntiyathu ennavental: un santhathiyaarukkullae angaveenamullavan thalaimuraithoraுm thaevanutaiya appaththaich seluththumpati seralaakaathu.Speak unto Aaron, saying, Whosoever he be of thy seed in their generations that hath any blemish, let him not approach to offer the bread of his God.
18Angaveenamulla oruvanum anukalaakaathu; kurudanaanaalum, sappaanniyaanaalum, kuraுkina allathu neennda avayavamullavanaanaalum,For whatsoever man he be that hath a blemish, he shall not approach: a blind man, or a lame, or he that hath a flat nose, or any thing superfluous,

21Aasaariyanaakiya aaronin santhathiyaaril angaveenamulla oruvanum karththarin thakanapalikalaich seluththach seralaakaathu; avan angaveenamullavanaakaiyaal, avan thaevanutaiya appaththaich seluththach seralaakaathu.No man that hath a blemish of the seed of Aaron the priest shall come nigh to offer the offerings of the LORD made by fire: he hath a blemish; he shall not come nigh to offer the bread of his God.
22Avan than thaevanutaiya appamaakiya makaa Parisuththamaanavaikalilum matta Parisuththamaanavaikalilum pusikkalaam.He shall eat the bread of his God, both of the most holy, and of the holy.
23Aanaalum avan angaveenamullavanaakaiyaal, avan en Parisuththa sthalangalaip Parisuththak kulaichchalaakkaathapatikkuth thiraikkullae pokaamalum palipeedaththanntaiyil seraamalum iruppaanaaka; naan avarkalaip Parisuththamaakkukira Karththar entu sol entar.Only he shall not go in unto the vail, nor come nigh unto the altar, because he hath a blemish; that he profane not my sanctuaries: for I the LORD do sanctify them.
24Moses ivaikalai aaronodum avan kumaararodum Israel puththirar anaivarodum sonnaan.And Moses told it unto Aaron, and to his sons, and unto all the children of Israel.
