Matthew 15 in Tamil

1 அப்பொழுது எருசலேமிலிருந்து வந்த வேதபாரகரும் பரிசேயரும் இயேசுவினிடத்தில் வந்து: Then came to Jesus scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying,

2 உம்முடைய சீஷர்கள் முன்னோர்களின் பாரம்பரியத்தை ஏன் மீறி நடக்கிறார்கள்? கைகழுவாமல் போஜனம் பண்ணுகிறார்களே! என்றார்கள். Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread.

3 அவர்களுக்கு அவர் பிரதியுத்தரமாக: நீங்கள் உங்கள் பாரம்பரியத்தினாலே தேவனுடைய கற்பனையை ஏன் மீறி நடக்கிறீர்கள்? But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?

4 உன் தகப்பனையும் உன் தாயையும் கனம்பண்ணுவாயாக என்றும்; தகப்பனையாவது தாயையாவது நிந்திக்கிறவன் கொல்லப்படவேண்டும் என்றும், தேவன் கற்பித்திருக்கிறாரே. For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.

5 நீங்களோ, எவனாகிலும் தகப்பனையாவது தாயையாவது நோக்கி: உனக்கு நான் செய்யத்தக்க உதவி எது உண்டோ, அதைக் காணிக்கையாகக் கொடுக்கிறேன் என்று சொல்லி, தன் தகப்பனையாவது தாயையாவது கனம்பண்ணாமற்போனாலும், அவன் கடமை தீர்ந்ததென்று போதித்து, But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me;

6 உங்கள் பாரம்பரியத்தினாலே தேவனுடைய கற்பனையை அவமாக்கிவருகிறீர்கள். And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.

7 மாயக்காரரே, உங்களைக்குறித்து: Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,

8 இந்த ஜனங்கள் தங்கள் வாயினால் என்னிடத்தில் சேர்ந்து, தங்கள் உதடுகளினால் என்னைக் கனம்பண்ணுகிறார்கள்; அவர்கள் இருதயமோ எனக்குத் தூரமாய் விலகியிருக்கிறது. This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

9 மனுஷருடைய கற்பனைகளை உபதேசங்களாகப்போதித்து, வீணாய் எனக்கு ஆராதனை செய்கிறார்கள் என்று, ஏசாயா தீர்க்கதரிசி நன்றாய்ச் சொல்லியிருக்கிறான் என்றார். But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

10 பின்பு அவர் ஜனங்களை வரவழைத்து, அவர்களை நோக்கி: நீங்கள் கேட்டு உணருங்கள். And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand:

11 வாய்க்குள்ளே போகிறது மனுஷனைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்தாது; வாயிலிருந்து புறப்படுகிறதே மனுஷனைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்தும் என்றார். Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.

12 அப்பொழுது, அவருடைய சீஷர்கள் அவரிடத்தில் வந்து: பரிசேயர் இந்த வசனத்தைக் கேட்டு இடறலடைந்தார்கள் என்று அறிவீரோ என்றார்கள். Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying?

13 அவர் பிரதியுத்தரமாக: என் பரமபிதா நடாத நாற்றெல்லாம் வேரோடே பிடுங்கப்படும். But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.

14 அவர்களை விட்டுவிடுங்கள், அவர்கள் குருடருக்கு வழிகாட்டுகிற குருடராயிருக்கிறார்கள்; குருடனுக்குக் குருடன் வழிகாட்டினால் இருவரும் குழியிலே விழுவார்களே என்றார். Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.

15 அப்பொழுது, பேதுரு அவரை நோக்கி: இந்த உவமையை எங்களுக்கு வெளிப்படுத்தவேண்டும் என்றான். Then answered Peter and said unto him, Declare unto us this parable.

16 அதற்கு இயேசு: நீங்களும் இன்னும் உணர்வில்லாதவர்களாயிருக்கிறீர்களா? And Jesus said, Are ye also yet without understanding?

17 வாய்க்குள்ளே போகிறதெல்லாம் வயிற்றுக்குள்ளே சென்று ஆசனவழியாய்க் கழிந்துபோம் என்பதை நீங்கள் இன்னும் அறியவில்லையா? Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught?

18 வாயிலிருந்து புறப்படுகிறவைகள் இருதயத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்டுவரும்; அவைகளே மனுஷனைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்தும். But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.

19 எப்படியெனில், இருதயத்திலிருந்து பொல்லாத சிந்தனைகளும், கொலைபாதகங்களும், விபசாரங்களும், வேசித்தனங்களும், களவுகளும், பொய்ச்சாட்சிகளும், தூஷணங்களும் புறப்பட்டுவரும். For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:

20 இவைகளே மனுஷனைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்தும்; கைகழுவாமல் சாப்பிடுகிறது மனுஷனைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்தாது என்றார். These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.

21 பின்பு, இயேசு அவ்விடம் விட்டுப் புறப்பட்டு, தீரு, சீதோன் பட்டணங்களின் திசைகளுக்குப் போனார். Then Jesus went thence, and departed into the coasts of Tyre and Sidon.

22 அப்பொழுது, அந்தத் திசைகளில் குடியிருக்கிற கானானிய ஸ்திரீ ஒருத்தி அவரிடத்தில் வந்து: ஆண்டவரே, தாவீதின் குமாரனே, எனக்கு இரங்கும், என் மகள் பிசாசினால் கொடிய வேதனைப்படுகிறாள் என்று சொல்லிக் கூப்பிட்டாள். And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.

23 அவளுக்குப் பிரதியுத்தரமாக அவர் ஒரு வார்த்தையும் சொல்லவில்லை. அப்பொழுது அவருடைய சீஷர்கள் வந்து: இவள் நம்மைப் பின் தொடர்ந்து கூப்பிடுகிறாளே, இவளை அனுப்பிவிடும் என்று அவரை வேண்டிக்கொண்டார்கள். But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.

24 அதற்கு அவர்: காணாமற்போன ஆடுகளாகிய இஸ்ரவேல் வீட்டாரிடத்திற்கு அனுப்பப்பட்டேனேயன்றி, மற்றப்படியல்ல என்றார். But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

25 அவள் வந்து: ஆண்டவரே, எனக்கு உதவிசெய்யும் என்று அவரைப்பணிந்து கொண்டாள். Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.

26 அவர் அவளை நோக்கி: பிள்ளைகளின் அப்பத்தை எடுத்து, நாய்க்குட்டிகளுக்குப் போடுகிறது நல்லதல்ல என்றார். But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs.

27 அதற்கு அவள்: மெய்தான் ஆண்டவரே, ஆகிலும் நாய்க்குட்டிகள் தங்கள் எஜமான்களின் மேஜையிலிருந்து விழுகிற துணிக்கைகளைத் தின்னுமே என்றாள். And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.

28 இயேசு அவளுக்குப் பிரதியுத்தரமாக: ஸ்திரீயே, உன் விசுவாசம் பெரிது; நீ விரும்புகிறபடி உனக்கு ஆகக்கடவது என்றார். அந்நேரமே அவள் மகள் ஆரோக்கியமானாள். Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.

29 இயேசு அவ்விடம் விட்டுப் புறப்பட்டு, கலிலேயா கடலருகே வந்து, ஒரு மலையின் மேல் ஏறி, அங்கே உட்கார்ந்தார். And Jesus departed from thence, and came nigh unto the sea of Galilee; and went up into a mountain, and sat down there.

30 அப்பொழுது, சப்பாணிகள், குருடர், ஊமையர், ஊனர் முதலிய அநேகரை, திரளான ஜனங்கள் கூட்டிக்கொண்டு இயேசுவிடத்தில் வந்து, அவர்களை அவர் பாதத்திலே வைத்தார்கள்; அவர்களை அவர் சொஸ்தப்படுத்தினார். And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus' feet; and he healed them:

31 ஊமையர் பேசுகிறதையும், ஊனர் சொஸ்தமடைகிறதையும், சப்பாணிகள் நடக்கிறதையும், குருடர் பார்க்கிறதையும், ஜனங்கள் கண்டு, ஆச்சரியப்பட்டு, இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனை மகிமைப்படுத்தினார்கள். Insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel.

32 பின்பு, இயேசு தம்முடைய சீஷர்களை அழைத்து: ஜனங்களுக்காகப் பரிதபிக்கிறேன், இவர்கள் என்னிடத்தில் மூன்று நாட்கள் தங்கியிருந்து சாப்பிட ஒன்றுமில்லாதிருக்கிறார்கள்; இவர்களைப் பட்டினியாய் அனுப்பிவிட எனக்கு மனதில்லை, வழியில் சோர்ந்து போவார்களே என்றார். Then Jesus called his disciples unto him, and said, I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days, and have nothing to eat: and I will not send them away fasting, lest they faint in the way.

33 அதற்கு அவருடைய சீஷர்கள்: இவ்வளவு திரளான ஜனங்களுக்குத் திருப்தியுண்டாகும்படி வேண்டிய அப்பங்கள் இந்த வனாந்தரத்திலே நமக்கு எப்படி அகப்படும் என்றார்கள். And his disciples say unto him, Whence should we have so much bread in the wilderness, as to fill so great a multitude?

34 அதற்கு இயேசு: உங்களிடத்தில் எத்தனை அப்பங்கள் உண்டு என்று கேட்டார். அவர்கள்: ஏழு அப்பங்களும் சில சிறு மீன்களும் உண்டு என்றார்கள். And Jesus saith unto them, How many loaves have ye? And they said, Seven, and a few little fishes.

35 அப்பொழுது அவர் ஜனங்களைத் தரையில் பந்தியிருக்கக் கட்டளையிட்டு, And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground.

36 அந்த ஏழு அப்பங்களையும் அந்த மீன்களையும் எடுத்து, ஸ்தோத்திரம் பண்ணி, பிட்டுத் தம்முடைய சீஷர்களிடத்தில் கொடுத்தார்; சீஷர்கள் ஜனங்களுக்குப் பரிமாறினார்கள். And he took the seven loaves and the fishes, and gave thanks, and brake them, and gave to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.

37 எல்லாரும் சாப்பிட்டுத் திருப்தியடைந்தார்கள்; மீதியான துணிக்கைகளை ஏழு கூடை நிறைய எடுத்தார்கள். And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the broken meat that was left seven baskets full.

38 ஸ்திரீகளும் பிள்ளைகளும் தவிர, சாப்பிட்ட புருஷர் நாலாயிரம் பேராயிருந்தார்கள். And they that did eat were four thousand men, beside women and children.

39 அவர் ஜனங்களை அனுப்பிவிட்டு, படவில் ஏறி, மக்தலாவின் எல்லைகளில் வந்தார். And he sent away the multitude, and took ship, and came into the coasts of Magdala.

1 Appoluthu erusalaemilirunthu vantha vaethapaarakarum pariseyarum Yesuvinidaththil vanthu: Then came to Jesus scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying,

2 Ummutaiya seesharkal munnorkalin paarampariyaththai aen meeri nadakkiraarkal? Kaikaluvaamal pojanam pannnukiraarkalae! Entarkal. Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread.

3 Avarkalukku avar pirathiyuththaramaaka: neengal ungal paarampariyaththinaalae thaevanutaiya karpanaiyai aen meeri nadakkireerkal? But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?

4 Un thakappanaiyum un thaayaiyum kanampannnuvaayaaka entum; thakappanaiyaavathu thaayaiyaavathu ninthikkiravan kollappadavaenndum entum, Dhevan karpiththirukkiraarae. For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.

5 Neengalo, evanaakilum thakappanaiyaavathu thaayaiyaavathu Nnokki: unakku naan seyyaththakka uthavi ethu unntoo, athaik kaannikkaiyaakak kodukkiraேn entu solli, than thakappanaiyaavathu thaayaiyaavathu kanampannnnaamarponaalum, avan kadamai theernthathentu pothiththu, But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me;

6 Ungal paarampariyaththinaalae thaevanutaiya karpanaiyai avamaakkivarukireerkal. And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.

7 Maayakkaararae, ungalaikkuriththu: Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,

8 Intha janangal thangal vaayinaal ennidaththil sernthu, thangal uthadukalinaal ennaik kanampannnukiraarkal; avarkal iruthayamo enakkuth thooramaay vilakiyirukkirathu. This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

9 Manusharutaiya karpanaikalai upathaesangalaakappothiththu, veennaay enakku aaraathanai seykiraarkal entu, aesaayaa theerkkatharisi nantaych solliyirukkiraan entar. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

10 Pinpu avar janangalai varavalaiththu, avarkalai Nnokki: neengal kaettu unarungal. And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand:

11 Vaaykkullae pokirathu manushanaith theettuppaduththaathu; vaayilirunthu purappadukirathae manushanaith theettuppaduththum entar. Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.

12 Appoluthu, avarutaiya seesharkal avaridaththil vanthu: pariseyar intha vasanaththaik kaettu idaralatainthaarkal entu ariveero entarkal. Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying?

13 Avar pirathiyuththaramaaka: en paramapithaa nadaatha naattellaam vaerotae pidungappadum. But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.

14 Avarkalai vittuvidungal, avarkal kurudarukku valikaattukira kurudaraayirukkiraarkal; kurudanukkuk kurudan valikaattinaal iruvarum kuliyilae viluvaarkalae entar. Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.

15 Appoluthu, paethuru avarai Nnokki: intha uvamaiyai engalukku velippaduththavaenndum entan. Then answered Peter and said unto him, Declare unto us this parable.

16 Atharku Yesu: neengalum innum unarvillaathavarkalaayirukkireerkalaa? And Jesus said, Are ye also yet without understanding?

17 Vaaykkullae pokirathellaam vayittaுkkullae sentu aasanavaliyaayk kalinthupom enpathai neengal innum ariyavillaiyaa? Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught?

18 Vaayilirunthu purappadukiravaikal iruthayaththilirunthu purappattuvarum; avaikalae manushanaith theettuppaduththum. But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.

19 Eppatiyenil, iruthayaththilirunthu pollaatha sinthanaikalum, kolaipaathakangalum, vipasaarangalum, vaesiththanangalum, kalavukalum, poychchaாtchikalum, thooshanangalum purappattuvarum. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:

20 Ivaikalae manushanaith theettuppaduththum; kaikaluvaamal saappidukirathu manushanaith theettuppaduththaathu entar. These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.

21 Pinpu, Yesu avvidam vittup purappattu, theeru, seethon pattanangalin thisaikalukkup ponaar. Then Jesus went thence, and departed into the coasts of Tyre and Sidon.

22 Appoluthu, anthath thisaikalil kutiyirukkira kaanaaniya sthiree oruththi avaridaththil vanthu: aanndavarae, thaaveethin kumaaranae, enakku irangum, en makal pisaasinaal kotiya vaethanaippadukiraal entu sollik kooppittal. And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.

23 Avalukkup pirathiyuththaramaaka avar oru vaarththaiyum sollavillai. Appoluthu avarutaiya seesharkal vanthu: ival nammaip pin thodarnthu kooppidukiraalae, ivalai anuppividum entu avarai vaenntikkonndaarkal. But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.

24 Atharku avar: kaannaamarpona aadukalaakiya Israel veettaridaththirku anuppappattaேnaeyanti, mattappatiyalla entar. But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

25 Aval vanthu: aanndavarae, enakku uthaviseyyum entu avaraippanninthu konndaal. Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.

26 Avar avalai Nnokki: pillaikalin appaththai eduththu, naaykkuttikalukkup podukirathu nallathalla entar. But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs.

27 Atharku aval: meythaan aanndavarae, aakilum naaykkuttikal thangal ejamaankalin maejaiyilirunthu vilukira thunnikkaikalaith thinnumae ental. And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.

28 Yesu avalukkup pirathiyuththaramaaka: sthireeyae, un visuvaasam perithu; nee virumpukirapati unakku aakakkadavathu entar. Annaeramae aval makal aarokkiyamaanaal. Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.

29 Yesu avvidam vittup purappattu, kalilaeyaa kadalarukae vanthu, oru malaiyin mael aeri, angae utkaarnthaar. And Jesus departed from thence, and came nigh unto the sea of Galilee; and went up into a mountain, and sat down there.

30 Appoluthu, sappaannikal, kurudar, oomaiyar, oonar muthaliya anaekarai, thiralaana janangal koottikkonndu Yesuvidaththil vanthu, avarkalai avar paathaththilae vaiththaarkal; avarkalai avar sosthappaduththinaar. And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus' feet; and he healed them:

31 Oomaiyar paesukirathaiyum, oonar sosthamataikirathaiyum, sappaannikal nadakkirathaiyum, kurudar paarkkirathaiyum, janangal kanndu, aachchariyappattu, isravaelin thaevanai makimaippaduththinaarkal. Insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel.

32 Pinpu, Yesu thammutaiya seesharkalai alaiththu: janangalukkaakap parithapikkiraேn, ivarkal ennidaththil moontu naatkal thangiyirunthu saappida ontumillaathirukkiraarkal; ivarkalaip pattiniyaay anuppivida enakku manathillai, valiyil sornthu povaarkalae entar. Then Jesus called his disciples unto him, and said, I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days, and have nothing to eat: and I will not send them away fasting, lest they faint in the way.

33 Atharku avarutaiya seesharkal: ivvalavu thiralaana janangalukkuth thirupthiyunndaakumpati vaenntiya appangal intha vanaantharaththilae namakku eppati akappadum entarkal. And his disciples say unto him, Whence should we have so much bread in the wilderness, as to fill so great a multitude?

34 Atharku Yesu: ungalidaththil eththanai appangal unndu entu kaettar. Avarkal: aelu appangalum sila siraு meenkalum unndu entarkal. And Jesus saith unto them, How many loaves have ye? And they said, Seven, and a few little fishes.

35 Appoluthu avar janangalaith tharaiyil panthiyirukkak kattalaiyittu, And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground.

36 Antha aelu appangalaiyum antha meenkalaiyum eduththu, Sthoththiram pannnni, pittuth thammutaiya seesharkalidaththil koduththaar; seesharkal janangalukkup parimaarinaarkal. And he took the seven loaves and the fishes, and gave thanks, and brake them, and gave to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.

37 Ellaarum saappittuth thirupthiyatainthaarkal; meethiyaana thunnikkaikalai aelu kootai niraiya eduththaarkal. And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the broken meat that was left seven baskets full.

38 Sthireekalum pillaikalum thavira, saappitta purushar naalaayiram paeraayirunthaarkal. And they that did eat were four thousand men, beside women and children.

39 Avar janangalai anuppivittu, padavil aeri, makthalaavin ellaikalil vanthaar. And he sent away the multitude, and took ship, and came into the coasts of Magdala.
