அப்பொழுது பிரதான ஆசாரியன் தன் வஸ்திரங்களைக் கிழித்துக்கொண்டு: இவன் தேவதூஷணம் சொன்னான்; இனிச் சாட்சிகள் நமக்கு வேண்டியதென்ன? இதோ இவன் தூஷணத்தை இப்பொழுது கேட்டீர்களே.

இதைக்கேட்ட தலைமை ஆசாரியன் மிகக் கோபமடைந்தான். தன் ஆடைகளைக் கிழித்துக் கொண்டு, “இவன் தேவனுக்கு எதிரானவைகளைப் பேசுகிறான். வேறு சாட்சியம் எதுவும் தேவையில்லை. தேவனுக்கு எதிராக இவன் கூறியவற்றை நீங்கள் எல்லோரும் கேட்டீர்கள்.
