3கபடநாவே, உனக்கு என்ன கிடைக்கும்? உனக்கு என்ன செய்யப்படும்?What shall be given unto thee? or what shall be done unto thee, thou false tongue?
4பலவானுடைய கூர்மையான அம்புகளும், சூரைச்செடிகளை எரிக்கும் தழலுமே கிடைக்கும்.Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of juniper.
5ஐயோ! நான் மேசேக்கிலே சஞ்சரித்தது போதும், கேதாரின் கூடாரங்களண்டையிலே குடியிருந்ததும் போதும்!Woe is me, that I sojourn in Mesech, that I dwell in the tents of Kedar!
6சமாதானத்தைப் பகைக்கிறவர்களிடத்தில் என் ஆத்துமா குடியிருந்ததும் போதும்!My soul hath long dwelt with him that hateth peace.
7நான் சமாதானத்தை நாடுகிறேன்; அவர்களோ, நான் பேசும்போது யுத்தத்துக்கு எத்தனப்படுகிறார்கள்.I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war.
