Psalm 33 in Tamil

1 நீதிமான்களே, கர்த்தருக்குள் களிகூருங்கள்; துதிசெய்வது செம்மையானவர்களுக்குத் தகும். Rejoice in the LORD, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright.

2 சுரமண்டலத்தினால் கர்த்தரைத் துதித்து, பத்து நரம்பு வீணையினாலும் அவரைக் கீர்த்தனம்பண்ணுங்கள். Praise the LORD with harp: sing unto him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings.

3 அவருக்குப் புதுப்பாட்டைப் பாடுங்கள்; ஆனந்த சத்தத்தோடே வாத்தியங்களை நேர்த்தியாய் வாசியுங்கள். Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise.

4 கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தை உத்தமமும், அவருடைய செய்கையெல்லாம் சத்தியமுமாயிருக்கிறது. For the word of the LORD is right; and all his works are done in truth.

5 அவர் நீதியிலும் நியாயத்திலும் பிரியப்படுகிறார்; பூமி கர்த்தருடைய காருணியத்தினால் நிறைந்திருக்கிறது. He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the LORD.

6 கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தையினால் வானங்களும் அவருடைய வாயின் சுவாசத்தினால் அவைகளின் சர்வசேனையும் உண்டாக்கப்பட்டது. By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.

7 அவர் சமுத்திர ஜலங்களைக் குவியலாகச் சேர்த்து, ஆழமான ஜலங்களைப் பொக்கிஷவைப்பாக வைக்கிறார். He gathereth the waters of the sea together as an heap: he layeth up the depth in storehouses.

8 பூமியெல்லாம் கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுவதாக; உலகத்திலுள்ள குடிகளெல்லாம் அவருக்கு அஞ்சியிருப்பதாக. Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.

9 அவர் சொல்ல ஆகும் அவர் கட்டளையிட நிற்கும். For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast.

10 கர்த்தர் ஜாதிகளின் ஆலோசனையை விருதாவாக்கி, ஜனங்களுடைய நினைவுகளை அவமாக்குகிறார். The LORD bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: he maketh the devices of the people of none effect.

11 கர்த்தருடைய ஆலோசனை நித்தியகாலமாகவும், அவருடைய இருதயத்தின் நினைவுகள் தலைமுறை தலைமுறையாகவும் நிற்கும். The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.

12 கர்த்தரைத் தங்களுக்குத் தெய்வமாகக்கொண்ட ஜாதியும், அவர் தமக்குச் சுதந்தரமாகத் தெரிந்துகொண்ட ஜனமும் பாக்கியமுள்ளது. Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.

13 கர்த்தர் வானத்திலிருந்து நோக்கிப் பார்த்து, எல்லா மனுபுத்திரரையும் காண்கிறார். The LORD looketh from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons of men.

14 தாம் வாசமாயிருக்கிற ஸ்தானத்திலிருந்து பூமியின் குடிகள் எல்லார்மேலும் கண்ணோக்கமாயிருக்கிறார். From the place of his habitation he looketh upon all the inhabitants of the earth.

15 அவர்களுடைய இருதயங்களையெல்லாம் அவர் உருவாக்கி, அவர்கள் செய்கைகளையெல்லாம் கவனித்திருக்கிறார். He fashioneth their hearts alike; he considereth all their works.

16 எந்த ராஜாவும் தன் சேனையின்மிகுதியால் இரட்சிக்கப்படான்; சவுரியவானும் தன் பலத்தின் மிகுதியால் தப்பான். There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength.

17 இரட்சிக்கிறதற்குக் குதிரை விருதா; அது தன் மிகுந்த வீரியத்தால் தப்புவியாது. An horse is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength.

18 தமக்குப் பயந்து, தமது கிருபைக்குக் காத்திருக்கிறவர்களின் ஆத்துமாக்களை மரணத்திற்கு விலக்கி விடுவிக்கவும்; Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;

19 பஞ்சத்தில் அவர்களை உயிரோடேகாக்கவும், கர்த்தருடைய கண்கள் அவர்கள்மேல் நோக்கமாயிருக்கிறது. To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.

20 நம்முடைய ஆத்துமா கர்த்தருக்குக் காத்திருக்கிறது; அவரே நமக்குத் துணையும் நமக்குக் கேடகமுமானவர். Our soul waiteth for the LORD: he is our help and our shield.

21 அவருடைய பரிசுத்த நாமத்தை நாம் நம்பியிருக்கிறபடியால், நம்முடைய இருதயம் அவருக்குள் களிகூரும். For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.

22 கர்த்தாவே, நாங்கள் உம்மை நம்பியிருக்கிறபடியே உமது கிருபை எங்கள்மேல் இருப்பதாக. Let thy mercy, O LORD, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.

1 Neethimaankalae, karththarukkul kalikoorungal; thuthiseyvathu semmaiyaanavarkalukkuth thakum. Rejoice in the LORD, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright.

2 Suramanndalaththinaal karththaraith thuthiththu, paththu narampu veennaiyinaalum avaraik geerththanampannnungal. Praise the LORD with harp: sing unto him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings.

3 Avarukkup puthuppaattaைp paadungal; aanantha saththaththotae vaaththiyangalai naerththiyaay vaasiyungal. Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise.

4 Karththarutaiya vaarththai uththamamum, avarutaiya seykaiyellaam saththiyamumaayirukkirathu. For the word of the LORD is right; and all his works are done in truth.

5 Avar neethiyilum niyaayaththilum piriyappadukiraar; poomi karththarutaiya kaarunniyaththinaal nirainthirukkirathu. He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the LORD.

6 Karththarutaiya vaarththaiyinaal vaanangalum avarutaiya vaayin suvaasaththinaal avaikalin sarvasenaiyum unndaakkappattathu. By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.

8 Poomiyellaam karththarukkup payappaduvathaaka; ulakaththilulla kutikalellaam avarukku anjiyiruppathaaka. Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.

9 Avar solla aakum avar kattalaiyida nirkum. For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast.

10 Karththar jaathikalin aalosanaiyai viruthaavaakki, janangalutaiya ninaivukalai avamaakkukiraar. The LORD bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: he maketh the devices of the people of none effect.

11 Karththarutaiya aalosanai niththiyakaalamaakavum, avarutaiya iruthayaththin ninaivukal thalaimurai thalaimuraiyaakavum nirkum. The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.

12 Karththaraith thangalukkuth theyvamaakakkonnda jaathiyum, avar thamakkuch suthantharamaakath therinthukonnda janamum paakkiyamullathu. Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.

13 Karththar vaanaththilirunthu Nnokkip paarththu, ellaa manupuththiraraiyum kaannkiraar. The LORD looketh from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons of men.

14 Thaam vaasamaayirukkira sthaanaththilirunthu poomiyin kutikal ellaarmaelum kannnnokkamaayirukkiraar. From the place of his habitation he looketh upon all the inhabitants of the earth.

15 Avarkalutaiya iruthayangalaiyellaam avar uruvaakki, avarkal seykaikalaiyellaam kavaniththirukkiraar. He fashioneth their hearts alike; he considereth all their works.

16 Entha raajaavum than senaiyinmikuthiyaal iratchikkappadaan; savuriyavaanum than palaththin mikuthiyaal thappaan. There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength.

17 Iratchikkiratharkuk kuthirai viruthaa; athu than mikuntha veeriyaththaal thappuviyaathu. An horse is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength.

18 Thamakkup payanthu, thamathu kirupaikkuk kaaththirukkiravarkalin aaththumaakkalai maranaththirku vilakki viduvikkavum; Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;

19 Panjaththil avarkalai uyirotaekaakkavum, karththarutaiya kannkal avarkalmael Nnokkamaayirukkirathu. To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.

20 Nammutaiya aaththumaa karththarukkuk kaaththirukkirathu; avarae namakkuth thunnaiyum namakkuk kaedakamumaanavar. Our soul waiteth for the LORD: he is our help and our shield.

21 Avarutaiya Parisuththa naamaththai naam nampiyirukkirapatiyaal, nammutaiya iruthayam avarukkul kalikoorum. For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.

22 Karththaavae, naangal ummai nampiyirukkirapatiyae umathu kirupai engalmael iruppathaaka. Let thy mercy, O LORD, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.
