Psalm 34 in Tamil

1 கர்த்தரை நான் எக்காலத்திலும் ஸ்தோத்திரிப்பேன்; அவர் துதி எப்போதும் என் வாயிலிருக்கும். I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.

2 கர்த்தருக்குள் என் ஆத்துமா மேன்மைபாராட்டும்; சிறுமைப்பட்டவர்கள் அதைக்கேட்டு மகிழுவார்கள். My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.

3 என்னோடேகூடக் கர்த்தரை மகிமைப்படுத்துங்கள்; நாம் ஒருமித்து அவர் நாமத்தை உயர்த்துவோமாக. O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.

4 நான் கர்த்தரைத் தேடினேன், அவர் எனக்குச் செவிகொடுத்து, என்னுடைய எல்லாப் பயத்துக்கும் என்னை நீங்கலாக்கிவிட்டார். I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

5 அவர்கள் அவரை நோக்கிப்பார்த்துப் பிரகாசமடைந்தார்கள்; அவர்கள் முகங்கள் வெட்கப்படவில்லை. They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.

6 இந்த ஏழை கூப்பிட்டான், கர்த்தர் கேட்டு, அவனை அவன் இடுக்கண்களுக்கெல்லாம் நீங்கலாக்கி இரட்சித்தார். This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.

7 கர்த்தருடைய தூதன் அவருக்குப் பயந்தவர்களைச் சூழப் பாளயமிறங்கி அவர்களை விடுவிக்கிறார். The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.

8 கர்த்தர் நல்லவர் என்பதை ருசித்துப்பாருங்கள்; அவர்மேல் நம்பிக்கையாயிருக்கிற மனுஷன் பாக்கியவான். O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

9 கர்த்தருடைய பரிசுத்தவான்களே அவருக்குப் பயந்திருங்கள்; அவருக்குப் பயந்தவர்களுக்குக் குறைவில்லை. O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.

10 சிங்கக்குட்டிகள் தாழ்ச்சியடைந்து பட்டினியாயிருக்கும்; கர்த்தரைத் தேடுகிறவர்களுக்கோ ஒரு நன்மையுங் குறைவுபடாது. The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing.

11 பிள்ளைகளே, வந்து எனக்குச் செவிகொடுங்கள்; கர்த்தருக்குப் பயப்படுதலை உங்களுக்குப் போதிப்பேன். Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD.

12 நன்மையைக் காணும்படி, ஜீவனை விரும்பி, நீடித்த நாட்களை அபேட்சிக்கிற மனுஷன் யார்? What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good?

13 உன் நாவைப் பொல்லாப்புக்கும், உன் உதடுகளைக் கபட்டுவசனிப்புக்கும் விலக்கிக் காத்துக்கொள். Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.

14 தீமையை விட்டு விலகி, நன்மைசெய்; சமாதானத்தைத் தேடி, அதைத் தொடர்ந்துகொள். Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.

15 கர்த்தருடைய கண்கள் நீதிமான்கள்மேல் நோக்கமாயிருக்கிறது; அவருடைய செவிகள் அவர்கள் கூப்பிடுதலுக்குத் திறந்திருக்கிறது. The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.

16 தீமைசெய்கிறவர்களுடைய பேரைப் பூமியில் இராமல் அற்றுப்போகப்பண்ண கர்த்தருடைய முகம் அவர்களுக்கு விரோதமாயிருக்கிறது. The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.

17 நீதிமான்கள் கூப்பிடும்போது கர்த்தர் கேட்டு, அவர்களை அவர்களுடைய எல்லா உபத்திரவங்களுக்கும் நீங்கலாக்கிவிடுகிறார். The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.

18 நொறுங்குண்ட இருதயமுள்ளவர்களுக்குக் கர்த்தர் சமீபமாயிருந்து, நருங்குண்ட ஆவியுள்ளவர்களை இரட்சிக்கிறார். The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

19 நீதிமானுக்கு வரும் துன்பங்கள் அநேகமாயிருக்கும், கர்த்தர் அவைகளெல்லாவற்றிலும் நின்று அவனை விடுவிப்பார். Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.

20 அவனுடைய எலும்புகளையெல்லாம் காப்பாற்றுகிறார்; அவைகளில் ஒன்றும் முறிக்கப்படுவதில்லை. He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.

21 தீமை துன்மார்க்கனைக் கொல்லும்; நீதிமானைப் பகைக்கிறவர்கள் குற்றவாளிகளாவார்கள். Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.

22 கர்த்தர் தமது ஊழியக்காரரின் ஆத்துமாவை மீட்டுக்கொள்ளுகிறார்; அவரை நம்புகிற ஒருவன்மேலும் குற்றஞ்சுமராது. The LORD redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.

1 Karththarai naan ekkaalaththilum sthoththirippaen; avar thuthi eppothum en vaayilirukkum. I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.

2 Karththarukkul en aaththumaa maenmaipaaraattum; siraுmaippattavarkal athaikkaettu makiluvaarkal. My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.

3 Ennotaekoodak karththarai makimaippaduththungal; naam orumiththu avar naamaththai uyarththuvomaaka. O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.

4 Naan karththaraith thaetinaen, avar enakkuch sevikoduththu, ennutaiya ellaap payaththukkum ennai neengalaakkivittar. I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

5 Avarkal avarai Nnokkippaarththup pirakaasamatainthaarkal; avarkal mukangal vetkappadavillai. They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.

6 Intha aelai kooppittan, Karththar kaettu, avanai avan idukkannkalukkellaam neengalaakki iratchiththaar. This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.

7 Karththarutaiya thoothan avarukkup payanthavarkalaich soolap paalayamirangi avarkalai viduvikkiraar. The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.

8 Karththar nallavar enpathai rusiththuppaarungal; avarmael nampikkaiyaayirukkira manushan paakkiyavaan. O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

9 Karththarutaiya Parisuththavaankalae avarukkup payanthirungal; avarukkup payanthavarkalukkuk kuraivillai. O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.

10 Singakkuttikal thaalchchiyatainthu pattiniyaayirukkum; karththaraith thaedukiravarkalukko oru nanmaiyung kuraivupadaathu. The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing.

11 Pillaikalae, vanthu enakkuch sevikodungal; karththarukkup payappaduthalai ungalukkup pothippaen. Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD.

12 Nanmaiyaik kaanumpati, jeevanai virumpi, neetiththa naatkalai apaetchikkira manushan yaar? What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good?

13 Un naavaip pollaappukkum, un uthadukalaik kapattuvasanippukkum vilakkik kaaththukkol. Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.

14 Theemaiyai vittu vilaki, nanmaisey; samaathaanaththaith thaeti, athaith thodarnthukol. Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.

15 Karththarutaiya kannkal neethimaankalmael Nnokkamaayirukkirathu; avarutaiya sevikal avarkal kooppiduthalukkuth thiranthirukkirathu. The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.

16 Theemaiseykiravarkalutaiya paeraip poomiyil iraamal attaுppokappannna karththarutaiya mukam avarkalukku virothamaayirukkirathu. The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.

17 Neethimaankal kooppidumpothu Karththar kaettu, avarkalai avarkalutaiya ellaa upaththiravangalukkum neengalaakkividukiraar. The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.

18 Noraுngunnda iruthayamullavarkalukkuk Karththar sameepamaayirunthu, narungunnda aaviyullavarkalai iratchikkiraar. The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

19 Neethimaanukku varum thunpangal anaekamaayirukkum, Karththar avaikalellaavattilum nintu avanai viduvippaar. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.

20 Avanutaiya elumpukalaiyellaam kaappaattaுkiraar; avaikalil ontum murikkappaduvathillai. He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.

21 Theemai thunmaarkkanaik kollum; neethimaanaip pakaikkiravarkal kuttavaalikalaavaarkal. Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.

22 Karththar thamathu ooliyakkaararin aaththumaavai meettukkollukiraar; avarai nampukira oruvanmaelum kuttanjumaraathu. The LORD redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.
