அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி: நான் உன்னோடே பேசும்போது ஜனங்கள் கேட்டு, உன்னை என்றைக்கும் விசுவாசிக்கும்படி, நான் கார்மேகத்தில் உன்னிடத்திற்கு வருவேன் என்றார். ஜனங்கள் சொன்ன வார்த்தைகளை மோசே கர்த்தருக்குச் சொன்னான்.

ராஜாவின் வல்லமை நீதியில் பிரியப்படுகிறது, தேவரீர் நியாயத்தை நிலைநிறுத்துகிறீர்; நீர் யாக்கோபில் நியாயமும் நீதியும் செய்கிறீர்.

அநியாயஞ்செய்வது ராஜாக்களுக்கு அருவருப்பு; நீதியினால் சிங்காசனம் உறுதிப்படும்.

ஆ! தேவனுடைய ஐசுவரியம், ஞானம், அறிவு என்பவைகளின் ஆழம் எவ்வளவாயிருக்கிறது! அவருடைய நியாயத்தீர்ப்புகள் அளவிடப்படாதவைகள், அவருடைய வழிகள் ஆராயப்படாதவைகள்!

குமாரனை நோக்கி: தேவனே, உம்முடைய சிங்காசனம் என்றென்றைக்குமுள்ளது, உம்முடைய ராஜ்யத்தின் செங்கோல் நீதியுள்ள செங்கோலாயிருக்கிறது.

துன்மார்க்கனோடே நீதிமானையும் சங்கரிப்பது உமக்குத் தூரமாயிருப்பதாக; நீதிமானையும் துன்மார்க்கனையும் சமமாய் நடப்பிப்பது உமக்குத்தூரமாயிருப்பதாக; சர்வலோக நியாயாதிபதி நீதிசெய்யாதிருப்பாரோ என்றான்.

ஜனங்கள் தூரத்திலே நின்றார்கள்; மோசே, தேவன் இருந்த கார்மேகத்துக்குச் சமீபமாய்ச் சேர்ந்தான்.

கர்த்தருடைய மகிமை சீனாய்மலையின்மேல் தங்கியிருந்தது; மேகம் ஆறு நாள் அதை மூடியிருந்தது; ஏழாம் நாளில் அவர் மேகத்தின் நடுவிலிருந்து மோசேயைக் கூப்பிட்டார்.

நீங்கள் சேர்ந்துவந்து, மலையின் அடிவாரத்தில் நின்றீர்கள்; அந்த மலையில் வானத்தை அளாவிய அக்கினி எரிய, இருளும் மேகமும் அந்தகாரமும் சூழ்ந்தது.

உமது வழி கடலிலும், உமதுபாதைகள் திரண்ட தண்ணீர்களிலும் இருந்தது; உமது காலடிகள் தெரியப்படாமற்போயிற்று.
