நதியின் தண்ணீர் குடிக்க உதவாதபடியால், குடிக்கத்தக்க தண்ணீருக்காக எகிப்தியர் எல்லாரும் நதியோரத்தில் ஊற்றுத் தோண்டினார்கள்.
